Fall isn’t here yet, but guess what is: Pumpkin Spice Latte flavored Hershey’s Nuggets!

Just like folks who start decorating for Halloween in August and putting up Christmas lights in October, there’s a whole bunch of people who start sniffing around for pumpkin spice latte flavored things at the slightest whiff of fall. I am those people. But this is early even for me. It isn’t even August yet!

My best guess is that Hershey’s wanted to be first in line to deliver this year’s PSL goodness, which, honestly, is a worthy endeavor.

What is PSL, we all wondered back in 2015 when the flavor—first unleashed by Starbucks in 2003—suddenly exploded beyond the confines of the coffeehouse. A warm, cozy blend of nostalgic fall spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, ginger, plus coffee) perfect for easing us gently into sweater weather. Unlike most food fads that vanish faster than you can say “kale chips,” the pumpkin spice latte has proven it’s here for the long haul, slowly infiltrating everything from chocolate and ice cream to candles and energy drinks.

What will the new Hershey’s PSL Milk Chocolate Nuggets taste like?

According a post from @snackolator on Instagram, these new Hershey’s Nuggets will feature the signature milk chocolate shell filled with a pumpkin spice latte flavored crème. Which, if they nail the spicy fall profile, could potentially be my new favorite treat.
