New Dubai Chocolate My/Mochi Looks Nuts!

Dubai chocolate has taken the world by storm. First, it was chocolate bars, then truffles, then cheesecakes and cookies, all inspired by those cripsy-crunchy chocolate bars. Now a completely different dessert is, at long last, getting the Dubai treatment for the first time: mochi ice cream. That’s right, My/Mochi is releasing a Dubai chocolate mochi ice cream ball, and to be honest, it sounds quite heavenly.

Which part of My/Mochi Dubai chocolate mochi ice cream will be chocolate and which will be pistachio? Is there still going to be a kadayif element to it? Will the sheer number of flavors and textures happening force me into a fugue state that reveals my true purpose in life and ultimate place in the universe?

Let’s start with what Dubai My/Mochi will actually look like, because the brand was pretty descriptive in the press release they sent us. The mochi balls will consist of “creamy pistachio flavored ice cream, crunchy kadayif made from Turkish phyllo dough, and chocolatey bits wrapped in chocolate flavored mochi dough.” Um, YUM?!?! Why has no one thought of this before? Say what you will about TikTok (and there is a lot to say), but I am 10000% certain that without TikTok, 2025 would have been utterly Dubai chocolate mochi-less, which tells us once and for all that, yes, this year could have been a little worse.

If you are looking for these in the frozen aisle, just know that, according to My/Mochi, the Dubai Chocolate Style My/Mochi packaging will “be a departure from the traditional purple My/Mochi box, leaning into the emerald green color palette and luscious brown signature fonts that symbolize Dubai chocolate.” Okay, go off, queens. We love emerald. And just in time for Wicked for Good to come out?!? November may be the month that 2025 finally peaks a little bit.

You can look for that iconic green-and-brown packaging at club stores (like Sam’s Club and Costco) starting in November, but if you don’t have a membership, don’t fret—this Dubai mochi ice cream will be heading to regular grocery stores nationwide in the spring of 2026. So we are getting our taste-testing muscles warmed up because when it comes to the question of “Will Sporked be trying these?” the answer is InDubaitably.
