If you’re a Krispy Kreme fan (and honestly, if you aren’t, we’re a little suspicious of you), you’ll know that there’s far, far more to this chain than its Original Glazed Doughnut and its other standard flavors. Like any other fast food joint, Krispy Kreme likes to mix its menu up on the regular, and it’s increasingly partnering with non-food companies like Hulu and DC in a bid to expand its dough-based empire.
In 2026, though, it looks like it’s back to basics for the brand – or, at least, a return to classic flavors that aren’t inspired by comic book heroes. On January 6, Krispy Kreme rolled out its Winter Seasonal Doughnut Collection and debuted four brand-new limited-time flavors for its customers. Judging by the sounds of these doughnuts, we’re going to be spending a lot of time in its stores over the next few months.
Raspberry Cheesecake and Chocolate Truffle Doughnuts Lead the Pack
Kicking off the new year at Krispy Kreme is its new Raspberry Cheesecake Doughnut. This flavor takes everything you like in a grocery store cheesecake and puts it into handheld form. It sees an unglazed version of one of its famous ring doughnuts dipped in raspberry icing, with one side then peppered with a graham cracker crunch. The doughnut is then crowned with a swirl of cheesecake buttercream, giving it a bright, slightly tangy finish.
If that all sounds a little too busy for you, though, try the Chocolate Truffle Doughnut. This chocolate lover’s dream consists of a doughnut filled with a truffle-flavored “Kreme” (yes, apparently, the K is essential), which is then covered in chocolate icing (which, importantly, is different from frosting). Even more chocolate is drizzled on top, and the whole thing is finished with – yep, you guessed correctly! – extra chocolate, by way of some chocolate chips. Excuse us while we book a dentist appointment.
Cinnamon Sugar Cake and Caramel Dulce Flavors Round Things Off
Krispy Kreme is also embracing spice and smoothness this season. Its Cinnamon Sugar Cake Doughnut is simple but effective, taking one of its glazed rings and finishing it off with a dusting of cinnamon-y, sugary goodness. (Honestly, you could probably make this one at home, too, if you grabbed yourself a bottle of the best cinnamon and a doughnut). The Caramel Dulce Doughnut is slightly grander, but not so much that it’s intimidating. Again, this doughnut begins with an Original Glazed Doughnut, which is then dipped in a caramel icing and garnished with a salted caramel dulce drizzle.
If you want a drink to go with your doughnuts, also featured in its Winter Seasonal Collection are the Caramel Brown Sugar and Caramel Vanilla Lattes (which can also be ordered iced or frozen). Luckily, if you can’t get down to Krispy Kreme any time soon, you’ll have a while before all of these doughnuts are gone: Its menu is due to run until 4/6/26 at participating stores.
