​​Here’s Dolly Parton’s Taco Bell Order

When Dolly Parton speaks, we listen. That’s just a rule for life, really, but we pay particular attention when she’s talking about food, whether she’s discussing her own food products or dishing on her favorite takeout. The country superstar, philanthropist, and all-around icon recently turned 80, and in celebration of her birthday, we decided to honor her in true Sporked fashion by zooming in on the fast food that she might have ordered for her party (which we can only imagine would have been pretty rhinestone-studded). 

Well, it turns out that Ms. Parton is as big a fan of Taco Bell as the rest of us. Her order? The Taco Supreme. 

Parton Prefers a Taco That Doesn’t Fall Apart

The singer confessed her love of Taco Bell’s tacos (amongst other orders… more on that later) in a 2016 interview with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM during which she told the host that she’d go to the fast food joint with late husband Carl Dean. You’d think that such a superstar would maybe send someone out to grab the food for her, but oh, no: Dolly went herself. “Carl and I have a little camper, a little RV, and we’re always driving through fast food restaurants to get our stuff,” she said in the interview, which was printed over on Taste of Country. “That’s one of the things we do. I’m always in the front seat. Sometimes they know me, sometimes they don’t.” Frankly, we’d do anything to be working the drive-thru those evenings. 

In a 2025 sit-down with Business Insider, Parton then confirmed that the Taco Supreme was her go-to—but it has to be a soft shell. “I like the others, but they fall apart so bad, especially if you’re riding around … So I always get a Taco Supreme, with the sour cream and all that, in the soft shell. I love that.” Petition to rename “I Will Always Love You to I Will Always Love Taco Bell?” No? Just us? Okay, we’ll shut up now. 

The Taco Supreme Isn’t the Only Thing on the Menu for Parton

Although the Taco Supreme is Parton’s regular order, she (like any sensible person) knows that you can’t leave a Taco Bell drive-thru with just one thing. So, she opts for a side of rice and beans to go with her tacos. She also grabs mild sauce for the Taco Supreme itself.

Oh, and there’s one more thing that the Jolene singer grabs, now that it’s back on the menu: the Mexican Pizza. She’s not the only celeb who loves this item, either. The Mexican Pizza is famously part of Doja Cat’s Taco Bell order, so much so that the rapper spearheaded a movement to bring it back to the fast food restaurant. She even appeared in the hugely tongue-in-cheek Mexican Pizza: The Musical… with Parton. Funny old world, isn’t it?
