It’s the middle of the night. You’re moping around the house, craving something soft and pillowy and meaty and cheesy. Something you can eat in two bites. Something like…White Castle sliders. But you don’t want to put on actual shoes and put on a coat and get into your car and talk to a person and pay money and drive home and settle for somewhat cold sliders. You want them to just magically appear in front of you. Guess what? THAT CAN HAPPEN.
Over the course of a couple of taste tests, we’ve tried pretty much every frozen slider at the grocery store. And we found frozen White Castle dupes that are ready in no time. Who makes them? Well, actually, it’s White Castle. If you want White Castle level sliders, then the only company who can make a frozen dupe is also White Castle.

We caught feelings for two frozen White Castle sliders in particular. First up, there’s the White Castle Classic Cheese Sliders (available for around $17.99 for 16, which makes them cheaper than a fast food White Castle slider). These are perfect. I really don’t think you could tell the difference between these frozen sliders and sliders from an actual White Castle. They have a perfect meat-to-bread ratio. The cheese gets nice and melty. And the real clencher? It’s the onions. The little onion bits give the burger a deep umami flavor. Just be sure to cook the burgers in the microwave so they’re squishy—they crisp up too much if you cook them in the oven and you don’t get that authentic “steamed” experience.

If you prefer the spicy sliders at White Castle, then you have to try the frozen White Castle Jalapeno Cheese sliders. You get the same classic cheeseburger sliders described above, but with spicy American cheese instead of the classic slice. Could they be spicier? Sure. But that little kick of heat keeps you coming back for more. And it means you can keep coming back for more because your mouth isn’t completely on fire.
Be your own White Castle. Keep your freezer stocked with these sliders at all times. And if you really want the full White Castle experience, we also have recommendations for the best frozen crinkle cut fries. Unfortunately we have yet to conduct a frozen chicken ring taste test. We’ll get to it as soon as we can. (We did try the frozen White Castle chicken rings for our ranking of all the frozen White Castle products, and you should steer clear of those.)
