Remember Handi-Snacks? Those little snack packs with crackers and spreadable cheese and that iconic red stick? Well, Handi-Snacks still exists and now they’re coming out with a new dessert snack pack inspired by a camping favorite: s’mores.

What are Handi-Snacks Honey Maid S’mores?

If you really want to make the brand happy, the actual official name is: Handi-Snacks Honey Maid Graham Cracker Sticks ‘N S’mores-Flavored Dip Snack Packs. But that’s a real mouthful. So we’ll stick with the shorter Handi-Snacks Honey Maid S’mores. Here’s what you get in one of these lil’ guys: graham cracker fingers (long, thin graham crackers) and “s’mores flavored dip.”

What do you mean “s’mores flavored dip?”

I’m not completely sure, but the ingredients list and picture on the box seem to imply it’s essentially a chocolate-flavored marshmallow dip.

Do they need to be refrigerated?

Nope! These snack packs are ready-to-go, right from the shelf. So you can throw them in a backpack or lunchbox or glove compartment or doom’s day kit without worrying that they’ll go bad.

Is this the first ever s’mores snack pack?

It is not! Lunchables has S’mores Dippers, which feature graham cracker sticks, marshmallow creme, and chocolate chips. Keebler appears to have created s’mores kits in partnership with Sargento. And, if you trust an image on Reddit, it looks like Handi-Snacks has actually tried a very similar concept before, although this earlier incarnation featured a dip that was half marshmallow, half chocolate.

When can I get these new S’mores Handi-Snacks?

Soon if not right now. Per @markie_devo on Instagram, they’ve already been spotted in Walmart.

Justine Sterling

Hi! I’m the editor-in-chief of Sporked. I will never turn down a fresh-shucked oyster but I’ll also leap at whatever new product Reese’s releases and I love a Tostitos Hint of Lime, even if there is no actual lime in the ingredients. Why you should trust me: I have been writing about food and beverages for well over a decade and am an avid at-home cook and snacker. I began my career writing about fine dining and recipes, moved into cocktails and spirits, and now I talk about groceries. If you can eat it or drink it, I’ve probably written about it. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now). Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test! Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
