Dairy Queen’s Summer 2026 Blizzards, Revealed

Like every fast food chain, Dairy Queen has had a busy start to 2026. This year has seen the restaurant kick into gear with its offers and menu specials, and while it hasn’t quite built up the speed of competitors like Taco Bell, which has a frankly head-spinning amount of new items coming your way this year, it’s still been rejigging and teasing things. Cinnamon Toast Crunch dipped cones and its Valentine’s Day menu have kept us intrigued through the chilly winter months, and now? It’s almost summer.

That means that it’s Blizzard time. In a couple of weeks, DQ’s set to drop its summer Blizzard selection, with three flavors arriving in its restaurants, according to @snackolator. Some of them have fans very happy. Here’s what’s comin’.

Which Summer Flavors Does Dairy Queen Have Lined Up?

Cotton Candy

DQ’s soft serve is mixed with cotton candy sprinkles and dumped into a cup for everyone to enjoy. This one’s been a fan favorite for a while, and judging by how pleased people are in @snackolator’s comment section, Dairy Queen’s done the right thing by bringing it back. One person begged for it to be year-round, saying that they “do not get any other flavor but cotton candy to this day.” A ringing endorsement, if ever we heard one.

S’Mores

DQ’s S’Mores Blizzard also returns to its restaurants, and while it may not be getting the same rapturous response as the Cotton Candy, people are still pretty jazzed about it. We can see why: This Blizzard combines vanilla soft serve with graham crackers and marshmallow-filled chocolate bars. Yuuum.

Angel Food Cake (NEW!)

New Flavor Alert! DQ’s Angel Food Cake option is gonna be a smash, we can feel it. This Blizzy mixes soft serve with strawberries and pieces of angel food cake, and finishes it with a burst of whipped topping. Perfect for those hot summer months.
