Yes. Yes, this is a real thing. Hard Mountain Dew has decided that it’s time to kick outdoor drinking season into gear, and it wants to make sure that your feet are looking their best when it’s time to take those socks off. As such, it’s offering fans a free pedicure on Thursday, April 9. Here are all the details on this bizarre little offer.

So, What Is This Whole Thing Actually About?

Well, we’ll tell ya. Hard Mountain Dew Man-i Pedi is a new campaign that aims to tackle the perennial issue that afflicts people nationwide each year: The fact that their feet become a little gross during the colder months. “Feet take a back seat every winter — and become everyone’s problem the second outdoor drinking season rolls around,” says Hard Mountain Dew on its official Man-i Pedi website. As such, it’s taking over one specific nail salon in Philadelphia on April 9 to give fans of the drink a free pedicure. Yes, it’s really free.

Now, obviously, this is fantastic marketing for Hard Mountain Dew (we’re talking about it here, after all!) – and the brand can probably afford to give away a few pedis with a publicity stunt like this. But hey, if you get a bit of free foot buffing out of it, then what’s the harm in it all?

And How Do I Book My Free Pedicure?

Head to the website linked above, and grab your slot. The free pedicures will only be running from 4 to 8 p.m. ET, so you won’t have much time. New slots drop every day at 10 a.m. ET, and you have to be over 21 to book. 

But I Don’t Live Near Philly. I’m Guessing I Don’t Get Anything?

No, that’s not the case! Alongside its free in-person pedicures, Hard Mountain Dew is also offering to stump up the bill for any pedis that fans get anywhere around the country. All you have to do is send them a receipt for a pedicure, and they’ll foot (get it?) the cost. You can only get reimbursement to the tune of up to $50, though, and your pedicure has to have happened between March 25 and April 9. 

Oh, and crucially, Hard Mountain Dew is giving out slots for reimbursement. You can’t just send it in whenever: These slots also drop at 10 a.m. ET. However, getting that cash back makes sitting at your computer on time all worth it. Just don’t be drinking your Hard Mountain Dew Code Red that early in the morning, folks.
