There’s a lot of prestige that goes with earning the #1 spot in a Sporked ranking—well, at least we think so. Anyway, I have to imagine that our affinity for Fat Tire and Niman Ranch’s beer brat collab—our #1 top brats—was the catalyst for Pabst Blue Ribbon and Smithfield’s latest creation. Just in time for summer, Smithfield is adding a bold new bratwurst to their lineup—one that’s infused with the taste of PBR.

PBR fans are about to level up their cookouts in ways they never thought possible

Pabst Blue Ribbon is a solid beer for a solid price. That reliability hasa earned them a dedicated fanbase. If you’re about PBR, everyone probably knows it. Smithfield has gone and infused their porky brats with the smooth taste of PBR in your honor.

Now you can look forward to gulping down a PBR with one hand and flipping these juicy brats while they sizzle on the grill with your other hand. The new beer brat aims to deliver a nostalgic, all-American twist on a summer staple, perfect for backyard barbecues, tailgates, and casual gatherings.

Don’t worry, the fun doesn’t stop there!

Smithfield’s PBR beer brats are undoubtedly the main event in their new launch but there are a few others coming out, too. Smithfield also added Jalapeño & Cheddar and Chipotle & Cheddar brats to their lineup just in time for summer. I guess the grill isn’t the only thing that’ll be heating up!

You’ll be able to find these three new flavors, and Smithfield’s classic rotation, at major retailers including Walmart, Kroger, and Publix.
