The most fashionable movie of the year – nay, the decade – is almost upon us, and there’s been a lot of build-up so far. Leading up to the release of The Devil Wears Prada 2, we’ve had endless press, multiple pieces of art created around the film (hello, “Runway” by Gaga and Doechii!), and a lot of tie-ins. Those have been happening in the food world, too: Last month, AMC announced its purse popcorn bucket, released in tandem with the film, which we absolutely loved.

Now, Starbucks is getting in on the action by dropping four new drinks inspired by the central characters. We’ve got the scoop on these new orders.
Are You A Miranda, Or An Andy?
Starbucks’ new drinks were announced on its website, as well as by food influencers like good old @markie_devo, yesterday. Each one is named after the film’s four main characters: Miranda, Andy, Nigel, and Emily. The tie-in here, of course, is the coffee runs made by Andy (played by Anne Hathaway) in the first film, which became just one of its many iconic sequences.
As for what you get if you order one of these, here’s the breakdown:
- The Miranda is a no-foam, extra-shot, extra-hot Caffè Latte with nonfat milk. Refined and elegant, much like Priestley herself.
- The Andy is an oatmilk cappuccino with caramel and cinnamon. A little bit of spice here, which we like.
- The Nigel is a Doppio Espresso Con Panna with mocha sauce. Why do we feel like Stanley Tucci would approve of this one?
- The Emily is an Iced Chai Latte with almond milk and sugar-free caramel syrup. We see the kinship between this one and the Andy, Starbucks – we know what you’re doing there.
Starbucks alluded to its presence in the original 2006 film in its press release for the new drinks. “Starbucks has been part of The Devil Wears Prada universe since the original film,” said the chain’s senior vice president of global marketing, Erin Silvoy. “We’re excited to bring that connection to life again, giving fans a way to step into the moment – starting with their daily coffee.”
When Can I Get These New Starbucks Drinks? And How?
These new drinks are available starting right now, and will be both in the US and in participating stores around the world, for a limited time (ie, until the film’s buzz dies down). You can get them in-store or through the Starbucks app, where you can also find its other secret drinks as they pop up (like its Hannah Montana drink, which is sadly now gone). No word yet on whether they’ll be available through Starbucks’ new ChatGPT app, which we still have a lot of questions about.
As well as these new drinks, Starbucks is also taking one further step in the Pradaverse, with copies of the fictional Runway Magazine available at The Starbucks Reserve location in New York City’s Empire State Building, starting April 24. Megafans, you know where to go.
