KFC’s New Bucket of the Day Deals: Here’s What You Can Get

So far in 2026, KFC hasn’t been spending a huge amount of time focusing on its buckets. It kinda doesn’t need to, to be honest – those big ol’ containers of chicken are as constant on its menu as the north star, and they don’t need a huge amount of attention. So, while the chain did debut a new Build A Bucket meal back in March, it’s been a little more focused on other ventures, like bringing back its Snacker sandwich and, in its international stores, bringing out options like a Buldak Double Down or Pickle Pepsi. Strange world we live in, huh?

Now, though, it’s returning to its bread and butter – or, rather, its chicken – with some new Bucket of the Day deals. And guess what? We’re gonna talk about ‘em. 

KFC’s Bucket of the Day Deals: More Chicken For Everyone!

As reported by @thefreebieguy over on Instagram, KFC’s new Bucket of the Day deals have now arrived at its stores. Every day of the week, you can get a different bucket of chicken for $10. 

Rather pleasingly, KFC has realised that people might not want thighs and drums every time in these, and so it’s mixing it up. The options are:

• Monday: It’s nugget day over at KFC, where you can get 24 nuggets and four sauces for $10. 
• Tuesday: On Tuesday, the restaurant goes back to basics: This one’s an 8-piece of drums and thighs.
• Wednesday: Did someone say wings? KFC did. 10 wings and two sauces on offer here, every Wednesday. 
• Thursday: We’re warming up to the weekend, and that means tenders. Eight of them, in fact. And four sauces.
• Friday: KFC repeats its Monday deal here, with 24 nuggets and four sauces. Hey, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, we guess. 

The People Are…Not That Excited

That’s if the comment section of @thefreebieguy’s post is anything to go by, at least. Over there, some people have said that they don’t think that this deal is that good – and some said that they would have preferred it if another chicken franchise, like Popeyes, was running it instead. There seems to be a general lack of love for KFC’s chicken over there, and this deal didn’t do much to turn that around. We personally think its sandwich is the best fast food chicken sandwich out there, but hey – they’re not selling buckets of those, yet. Hint hint, KFC. 

You could also, as some commenters mentioned, simply recreate this at home for a cheaper cost – but where’s the fun in that?
