Earlier this year, Snickers dropped four mini ice cream candy bars. Most of them were good, but, as you can read in my review of those bars, one of them truly rocked my world. Now, Snickers has released an all new, full-sized version of that bar and I got an early taste.

Okay, I’ll stop burying the lede, the new Snickers ice cream bar in question is Snickers Crunchy Peanut Butter. While it was originally released in a limited-time only box alongside the original Snickers ice cream bar as part of a promotion for the 2026 NFL Draft, you can still find these babies at convenience stores like 7-Eleven and Wawa. The bar is made with peanut butter ice cream, caramel, and peanuts—lots of peanuts, 50% more peanuts than the original, which are both layered on top of the ice cream and within the ice cream—enrobed in a thin chocolate coating.

I mean, you all know I love this ice cream bar. But let’s go into more detail. Here’s my review.

Pros: I love everything about this bar. The peanut butter ice cream is subtle but authentic. The caramel is restrained and not too gooey, adding a whisper of goo and salty-sweet flavor. The chocolate coating is thin and crackly. And the peanuts, oh the peanuts. They have the perfect crunch and a roasty, salty flavor. It all comes together in a symphony of sweet, ice creamy delight. And since these bars are full-size, there’s more room for those peanuts to really shine.

Cons: If you don’t like peanuts or peanut butter, you’re not going to like this. But, like, duh. Also, I do wish these were more widely available. Give them their own box in the freezer aisle, Snickers!

Hi! I’m the editor-in-chief of Sporked. I will never turn down a fresh-shucked oyster but I’ll also leap at whatever new product Reese’s releases and I love a Tostitos Hint of Lime, even if there is no actual lime in the ingredients. Why you should trust me: I have been writing about food and beverages for well over a decade and am an avid at-home cook and snacker. I began my career writing about fine dining and recipes, moved into cocktails and spirits, and now I talk about groceries. If you can eat it or drink it, I’ve probably written about it. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now). Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test! Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
