Dunkin’s Giving Away Free Totes — Here’s How To Get Yours

Sound the free stuff klaxon! Because…there’s free stuff to be had! And it’s comin’ from Dunkin’. The donut and coffee chain has been in an eye-catching mood over the last few weeks: Alongside dropping its July 4 menu, it decided to take its viral drink buckets nationwide, and in doing so, reminded us all that maybe you can have too much of a good thing (that good thing being iced coffee). Now, though, it’s taking that eye-catching inclination up a notch by literally handing out free totes.

The only catch, though, is that they’re gonna go fast. Very fast. Here’s what you need to know, and how you can get one for yourself. 

Get ‘Em While They’re Hot!

On Monday, June 1, Dunkin’ will be giving away limited-time tote bags with every purchase of a half-dozen donuts or more at participating stores. According to its press release, this giveaway is in honor of National Donut Day, which returns on Friday, June 5 (and which, to be honest, we had forgotten existed – there are a lot of national food holidays, folks). 

The totes will come in two colors (orange and pink, says Parade), and it’ll be very much a first-come, first-served deal. If you’re interested in getting one, though, it’s recommended that you get down there early. Is Dunkin’ trying to steal Trader Joe’s thunder here with the latter’s totes? We’re not sure. Each location only has 20 totes to give away, though, so they’ll be gone in the blink of an eye. It might also be worth calling ahead to check that your store’s actually stocking them, to save yourself an early start on a Monday morning for no reason.

More Free Stuff! And Merch!

This isn’t the only thing that Dunkin’ has planned for National Donut Day. On the day itself, any drink purchase at the chain will land you a free donut. This is the 16th time in a row that Dunkin’s done this, so it’s clearly a winner for them.
