When the thought of measuring your own spices gets too much, but you still want to feel as though you’re actually cooking and not just throwing in the towel, then seasoning blends are there to provide salvation. I can only imagine that’s what the executives at Big Spice say to each other as they concoct new blends for the masses to sprinkle on, in, and (maybe?) around their food.

Well, the folks over at McCormick have definitely delivered this time, if sheer numbers alone are anything to go by. It has just released a new range of seasoning blends, and there are 10 new options to choose from. Here’s what you need to know.

McCormick’s New Seasoning Blends: Let’s Go Global

For its new Signature Seasoning Blends, McCormick has gone for a host of flavors and mixes inspired by various international cuisines – and others in the collection may not be explicitly named as being part of a specific country’s culinary tradition, but still fall in line with flavors from certain parts of the world. In a statement shared with Parade, McCormick said that the new collection aims to “[eliminate] the need to measure, mix, or purchase multiple spices.” Hey, we said that up top! It’s almost like I had a sense that’s what they were doing, and potentially looked at what it said about its product beforehand.

Anyway, to the flavors! McCormick’s new Signature Seasonings are:

  • Korean Style: Fiery red pepper, garlic, onion, and sesame.
  • Moroccan Style: Paprika, cumin, and ginger.
  • Peruvian Style: Chili pepper, garlic, and lime.
  • Greek Style: Garlic, oregano, basil, sun-dried tomatoes
  • Indian Style: Paprika, coriander, turmeric, and garlic.
  • Spicy Sicilian-Style: Garlic, oregano, red pepper, and onion.
  • Sesame Ginger: Sesame seed, ginger, garlic, onion, and sesame oil.
  • Smoked Paprika & Garlic: Sea salt, garlic, smoked paprika, turmeric, and onion.
  • Savory Herb & Parmesan: Garlic, basil, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Rosemary Lemon: Sea salt, garlic, rosemary, and lemon peel.

And Can I Get Them Now?

Yes, you can get them now! McCormick’s spice blends are now on sale on its website, where you can buy them individually or as part of a bundle, or in major retailers like Walmart. These look like they’re a new permanent collection, too, so hopefully they’ll stick around for a while. They’re definitely less transitory than McCormick’s recent One Piece Spice Kit, which was never really gonna stick around for long, was it?
