As a chocolate lover, Ghirardelli is arguably one of my favorite brands. And speaking of chocolate, Ghirardelli has entered the cookie space in a whole new way. Yes, you read that right—and no, I’m not talking about chocolate chips. Enter: cookie dough. Honestly, this feels like the kind of grocery store news that can fully derail your shopping list in the best way possible.

And no, I’m not saying to ditch the Pillsbury or Nestle Toll House (absolutely not), but you’ll want to keep your eye out for this cookie dough on your next trip to the grocery store.

Two New Flavors Of Cookie Dough

Although you can still add those delicious chocolate squares to your cart, you’ll also want to grab two packs of Ghirardelli’s new cookie dough.

You’ll find Classic Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Chip Brownie, each of which contain the brand’s beloved, rich, and decadent chocolate. This is different from the Ghirardelli’s cookie mix (which already exists).

Each pack can make 12 cookies, so it’s perfect for parties or special occasions. Heck, we don’t judge if you want to have a dozen cookies at once—sometimes it’s an act of self care. You could even make brookies with the brownie mix with these if you are craving a sweet treat on another level. But be warned, this isn’t the cookie dough that’s designed to be eaten raw. You have to wait until it’s fully baked to dive in—trust us, it’s worth it.

Where To Get Ghirardelli Cookies

For now, these Ghirardelli cookies can be found at Walmart. So yes, your next Walmart run just got significantly more exciting. There’s no word on whether they’ll expand to other retailers, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see it in the future. Once people start baking these, other retailers will catch on and want in on the action.
