Cup Noodles has never been a brand to shy away from an adventurous flavor of their iconic ramen noodle cups. They’ve done breakfast (Maple syrup pancakes, sausage, and egg), turkey dinner and pumpkin pie flavors, three chicken wing-inspired flavors, and that’s just barely scratching the surface (and not counting pickle, everything bagel, and s’mores)! Whatever flavor concept you can think up, Cup Noodles has probably either already done it or is currently planning it right now. Today, Cup Noodles increases that count of adventurous flavors by adding two new flavors set to hit stores soon.

The Brand New Flavors
The timing couldn’t have been more perfect―in the heat of summer as everyone is breaking out the grills to celebrate the 4th of July and America’s 250th birthday, Cup Noodles is joining in the fun too by bringing us two different BBQ-inspired flavors! Enter stage left: Cup Noodles Kansas City BBQ and Cup Noodles Texas BBQ! If you’re like me and aren’t privy to all of the different types of BBQ, we have you covered!
Cup Noodles describes the Kansas City BBQ variety as being a “bold, sweet, and unapologetically saucy, a rich tomato-based sauce layered with garlic, onion, a hint of smoke, and pork notes. The kind of sauce-forward flavor KC is famous for, coating every noodle in something that tastes like it took a lot longer than four minutes.” Folks, I’ve got to be honest, I’m salivating at the mouth from that description alone! Sign me up once and sign me up twice!
Cup Noodles takes an opposite view with their Texas BBQ variety, describing it as “smoke-driven and spice forward, built on salt, cracked black pepper, garlic, and bold dry-rub seasonings that call back to the slow-smoked brisket Texas considers a birthright. Less sauce, more conviction, and significantly fewer hours standing next to a smoker wondering if you ruined it.” I’m sold―I’ll take ten.
Where You Can Find Them
I’m glad you asked! Cup Noodles has had a tradition of offering their limited-edition flavors exclusively at Walmart in times past. This tradition is continuing with the BBQ-inspired flavors. Both flavors will be available starting June 9th in stores and at walmart.com! So if your BBQ ends in disaster―like the 44% of recent BBQ-goers who have experienced burnt or disappointing food or the 29% who complained of dry meat, reported by Nissin Foods―perhaps Cup Noodles is here to save the day! It may not have been on my 2026 Food Bingo Card but I am here for it!
