Snapple Just Dropped A Super Exclusive Bottle (But There’s A Catch)

Knicks in five, right? Whether you’ve been a lifelong New York Knicks fan or just jumped on the bandwagon like me, you’re probably looking for all the Knicks merch you can get your hands on. Snapple just made that easier with this latest collab, but it’s going to be difficult to get your hands on this limited edition bottle. Here’s all the tea (pun intended) that you need to know.

Snapple’s Knicks Collab

The collab is just what it sounds like―the classic glass Snapple bottle you know and love has just been decorated to feature the iconic New York Knicks logo and the team’s iconic orange and blue colors.  “Call it fate. Snapple was born in NYC in 1972―the last year the Knicks started a championship run,” according to the official press release. “Now, two hometown icons are coming together to celebrate this historic title in a way that will energize the entire city,” the release continues. While there’s no new flavor to write home about, this bottle is still something Knicks collectors and new fans alike will want to get their hands on.

A Super Limited Edition

While this collab is a total score (in my opinion), the catch is that there are only 100 bottles to go around the city―it might sound impossible, but you have a shot to get your hands on one if you really put your mind to it. Unlike some other New York Knicks collabs that you can order online, this one will only be available in New York City. That said, it’s not as simple as going into your local bodega and buying a bottle (although we wish it were). 

You need to be following @meals_by_cug by June 17th because that’s when he will be going to different areas of the city and posting hints on his Instagram story about where you can try to get one ―with a limit of one bottle per person―but keep in mind the location won’t be explicitly stated anywhere. It’s worth noting that Snapple’s Instagram post about the limited-time bottle drop says that they won’t be available at retail locations, so this release is particularly exclusive. On one hand, we’re bummed that it’s so difficult to find one of these. On the other, the hunt makes this limited edition collab all the more special.
