Chips Ahoy Just Dropped New Special Edition Cookies (And They’re Only Available For A Limited Time)

You might recall that Papa Johns and Starbucks released themed collaborations ahead of the new Toy Story 5 film. These were done to get fans excited for the release and now that the movie is out, the momentum has not slowed down yet―and we’re here for it. In fact, Chips Ahoy recently launched a new special-edition cookie and it is so adorable and nostalgic. Honestly? If you can make a grocery store cookie feel like a childhood memory, that’s pretty impressive.

The New Special-Edition Toy Story Cookie

Chips Ahoy has partnered with Disney and Pixar to launch the Toy Story Crunchy Candy Blast cookie. This is a little different than the brand’s classic chocolate chip cookies as they are graham-flavored cookies with creamy white fudge chips, colorful candy blasts, and star-shaped sheriff badge sprinkles. If you’re an adult who buys themed snacks solely because they spark joy, no explanation necessary―we do, too. 

It’s crunchy and has a pop of color with each bite from the candy blasts. Plus, the star-shaped sprinkles are a fun nod to everyone’s favorite cowboy. These are perfect to pack in a kiddo’s lunch box, maybe take to the movie theater with you, or even shove in your purse for a quick mid-day pick me up snack. 

Aside from this new cookie, Chips Ahoy launched special Toy Story packaging for its Mini Original Fudgy Chocolate Chip Cookies. There’s nothing different about the cookies themselves, but you will notice characters on the packaging like Woody and Jessie. Look, we all know character packaging works. It’s the reason half of us suddenly need cookies we weren’t planning to buy five minutes ago. And yes, I’m speaking from personal experience.

Where To Get Them

The Toy Story 5 Chips Ahoy cookies are starting to be rolled out onto shelves nationwide. Shoppers have already spotted them at Walmart and Shop Rite and they are expected to expand to other retailers later this month.
