After years of limited-time runs and passionate fan requests, Taco Bell decided to make Nacho Fries a permanent menu item this year and has found a new way of making it more tempting. This time, the fan-favorite fries are getting a serious upgrade with juicy steak, even more cheese, and a new sauce that sounds like it belongs on just about everything.

Grubhub customers can get the Pepper Jack Steak Nacho Fries for free, but there’s a big catch.
Taco Bell Loads Up Its Famous Fries
If regular nacho fries already felt like a meal, this new version takes things to another level. Taco Bell starts with crispy, golden fries coated in the chain’s signature seasoning that many have come to love. From there, the fries are filled with grilled, marinated steak, creamy pepper jack sauce, warm nacho cheese sauce, and a shredded blend of mozzarella, pepper jack, and cheddar cheeses. Freshly made pico de gallo finishes everything off, adding a fresh bite that helps balance all that melted cheese.
So, what you get is a fork loaded with cheesy, creamy, savory flavors and just enough spice from the pepper jack sauce to keep things interesting.
The loaded fries are also customizable, so anyone wanting even more flavor can add extras like lettuce, jalapeños, seasoned beef, chicken, potatoes, or additional sauces.
The New Pepper Jack Sauce Is Having A Moment
Just like with the Fresca and Melty Pepper Jack Steak Burritos, the new Pepper Jack Steak Nacho Fries aren’t arriving alone. The same creamy Pepper Jack sauce in Taco Bell’s recently released steak burritos are coming with the Pepper Jack Steak Nacho Fries.
For the uninitiated, the pepper jack sauce is not that spicy. I’d say it’s a 4 out of 10 on any type of spice meter. So, for those who love extra spice, they can get it for an extra $0.30.
There’s A Free Way To Try Them
Anyone planning a Taco Bell delivery order may want to mark their calendar. From July 28th through August 3rd, Grubhub customers can get Pepper Jack Steak Nacho Fries for free with any Taco Bell order of $22 or more.
For everyone else, the loaded fries are available nationwide at $5.99 for a limited time. Like many Taco Bell favorites, they’ll only be around for a couple of weeks, so anyone curious about the chain’s cheesiest take on nacho fries yet may want to grab an order before they disappear from the menu.
