On their own, Thursdays really aren’t anything special, but with Publix stores nearby they always keep it fresh and exciting for the mundane workday. You see, Publix refreshes all of their BOGO deals currently on offer in stores each and every Thursday. And I know what you’re thinking: this is such a gift. And with the rising cost of food prices, I would have to agree. But it does quickly get overwhelming when you see the sheer volume of things that Publix puts on BOGO every week.

That’s where we here at Sporked come in. We look through each and every item that Publix puts on BOGO each week and let you know which ones we think are gonna be the most helpful and delicious for you all to bring home. This is what made the cut this week.
- Hellmann’s Mayonnaise
-
We’re fully in the swing of the back-to-school season and with that comes the inevitable rise of consumer demand for a sandwich supplies. And, of course, we can rely on Publix to support us in that endeavor as well as they made Hellmann’s mayonnaise on BOGO for this week. Any sort of chicken, tuna, or egg salad can be made at your convenience and leisure, or if you simply need to give the dry bread in your sandwich a little bit of love, this is the perfect BOGO sale to stock up with.
- Perdue Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
-
Frankly, anytime we see you Publix put chicken breasts on sale we know we have to not only stock up ourselves, but tell the masses. The unmatched versatility and universal appeal of chicken breasts are simply too good to not mention when they’re on BOGO. Quite simply, you can feed your family for less this week because you’re probably gonna buy some kind of chicken anyways. This is just giving us the opportunity to get what we really need half the price. Good on you, Publix.
- Ghirardelli Premium Brownie Mix
-
I’ve been to culinary school, and I’ve been a pastry cook for years on end, but sometimes at the end of the day in my own personal life even I still crave the convenience and irresistible nostalgia of a boxed brownie mix. Sometimes, it just cannot be beat. Luckily, the most superior of the box of brownie mixes is the one that Publix decided to pop on BOGO this week for any late night cravings. The Ghirardelli flavor really comes through in the quality of the chocolate and the overall depth of flavor. It’s never a bad idea to have a couple of boxes of these stocked up and ready to go in your pantry.
- Tostitos Tortilla Chips
-
There’s always some kind of chip on sale at Publix, but I don’t think there’s any more quintessential chip on those shelves than Tostitos. They are a beloved family favorite for a reason, and they have lots of shapes and styles to choose from. So, ahead of the roaring football season ahead, stock up now to make hosting host all of the big games on the roster just that much easier.
- Zephyrhills Spring Water
-
I’ll admit, this isn’t one of the most glamorous recommendations for a BOGO sale, but it’s one I hold dear as someone who has lived in Florida for a bulk of their life. If you are anywhere near a Publix location, then chances are you are somewhere that is generally at risk during hurricane season, beyond the Florida borders. The ongoing threat of hurricanes is one that the Publix brand knows all too well. And in the face of a hurricane, it’s Publix that people turn to to get all of their essential goods in the event of damage from the storm. Don’t wait until there is an actual hurricane threat to stock up on water just to turn up to empty shelves. Do you and your loved ones a favor and take this opportunity of those Zephyrhill bottles being on BOGO to be prepared for anything.
