Let’s get real for a second. Well, we’re going to be real for much longer than one second but for this first second let’s talk about Pringles Mingles. We’re not the biggest fans of Pringles Mingles here at Sporked―which is okay, because I actually didn’t know about that until I was looking into Pringles Mingles for this new product review.

Let that be a reassurance to you. The thoughts I’m about to share are solely my own. Untainted by anyone else. Just me and Pringles Mingles, alone in my apartment. That sounds like I’m trying to create a sensual visual picture for you but let me tell you, I wish I had someone here to save me.
Pringles Mingles Sweet and Salty
Pros: Pringles Mingles sweet and salty are, in fact, sweet and they are salty. What exactly gives them these characteristics? It appears to be a mix of corn meal, sugar, brown sugar, and salt. Real creative on that one, Pringles. While Pringles Mingles sweet and salty deliver on their promise, we need to break down exactly what that promise is.
Cons: These are the creation of the devil. That seems extreme, but let’s really examine these chips. Are they chips? Mingles? Whatever they are. Pringles got a lot more creative with their other Mingles flavors. There’s cinnamon and sugar, jalapeño and queso, cheddar and sour cream, even dill pickle and ranch. You have all those actual flavors and your big idea for a new flavor is sweet and salty?
I can only imagine that the sick food scientists went with sweet and salty to make them utterly addicting. Which they are. Unfortunately, there is no distinct flavor to elevate the craveable experience my body is going through. I simply cannot stop eating these Mingles but I am not getting any satisfaction out of it above a primal level.
This is truly the bottom of the barrel for food creation. We need a sense of wonder, a sense of whimsy, even a purpose that’s being fulfilled by the food you are putting out into the world. These were made in a lab just to sell more bags of Pringles Mingles and in no way, shape, or form can I recommend you buy them. Please save yourself and if you are my neighbors, do not pull these out of the compost bin out back.
