Publix is one of those grocery stores that always ends up being a little bit more expensive at checkout than you would expect it to be. And with customers recently having compared the prices at Publix is to Whole Foods (and there being plenty of instances where Publix is actually the more expensive option comparatively), I think it’s a good thing that they are making a conscientious effort to have a broad range of BOGO items in their product portfolio every single week.

The thing is, knowing when to get them and what is on sale each week can be a bit overwhelming when they have so many products on BOGO. Deciphering it all is honestly too much for any old trip to the grocery store. And that’s where we come in. We here at Sporked aim to make your grocery experience at Publix not only simpler and more efficient, but more affordable too. These are the five items from Publix we think you should take advantage of the BOGO sale from this week.

Cocojune Yogurt

We often do a little spotlight on this series for a different yogurts that make simple snacking and morning routines flow smoother. But, it’s not often that we actually have the opportunity to put a spotlight on the same products for our dairy-free friends. Not this week, though, because Publix has put all of Cocojune’s individual yogurt cups on BOGO for everyone to enjoy and make our mundane snacking a little bit tastier.

Goldfish Crackers

Ordinarily I would say that Goldfish crackers aren’t really something to write home about. Yes, they’re delicious and classic, but there’s no real news there. However, when a snack so essential to the daily routines of families is on sale, and we’re still in the midst of all the after school madness that comes with the start of the fall semester, it’s worth giving you a shout that these are on BOGO this week. Plus, with the wide range of flavors that Goldfish offers, there’s something for everybody. For more insight as to which flavors we recommend most read our official Sporked Goldfish ranking here.

Galbani Fresh Mozzarella

In my mind, there’s no cheese that’s actually as versatile as mozzarella. From sandwiches, to pizza, and charcuterie boards alike, it’s just simply satisfying and an easy translation to many dishes. It’s also a great thing to have on hand because it is not only versatile, but it’s satisfies an abundance of picky eaters’ palates, as well. We here at Sporked are all about making sure everyone gets to have food that they love when it comes time to eat, so we’re big fans of fresh mozzarella. Its mild creaminess is something that’s hard to resist, so having it on BOGO means that the possibilities are endless.

Vital Farms Eggs

With eggs being recalled seemingly left and right, Vital Farms has been a company we have ended up depending on due to their dedication to good practices and ethical standards. The main downside is that they do come in at a heftier price tag to accommodate for the practices that are expensive to maintain. Luckily though, for at least this week, we can get them on BOGO. Not only is it a great deal, but it gives us peace of mind, too.

Simply Organic Dry Spices

Spices are one of those things where that can either be one of the cheapest and simple simplest additions to your meal to give it some extra flavor and intrigue, or, surprisingly, the most expensive ingredient. And, depending on the spice that you are needing to stock up on, it can quickly become something you write off is something you don’t need to buy. But I must assist that now is the time to invest in flavor since all Simply Organic spices are currently on BOGO. Whether it’s a $14 jar of cardamom or just some garlic powder, there’s no better time to stock up.
