What’s New At Costco This Week (Featuring A Din Tai Fung Copycat)

Finding a good dupe is a delicate balance. On one hand, I like to support the originator of a dish. Not that Din Tai Fung exactly created honey lemonade but they were the first person to introduce me to such a delicious creation. So I like to support. Plus they’re putting out some good dishes there, too (shoutout to the chocolate xiao long bao).

Unfortunately for me though, I don’t have the income it takes to sustain a trip to Din Tai Fun every day. That’s why it’s nice to find a good dupe out in the wild. This week, Costco’s bringing us a dupe that you can sip on for a little enjoyment between trips to save some extra dollars.

Synear Albóndigas Smoky Chipotle Soup Dumplings

Soup dumplings with a little Mexican flare. This is the peak form of fusion foods. Inside you’ll find flavors of Mexican-style meatball soup featuring a savory tomato broth, seasoned beef and pork, with added aromatic herbs. Costco, you beautiful geniuses, I can’t believe you found such a creative dish.

Brazi Bites Brazilian Cheddar & Parmesan Cheese Bread

Poppable bread that delivers bursts of cheddar and parmesan cheese. This is a food that was made for snacking! This Costco-sized bag comes with over 60 little morsels for you to have on hand to keep you from dying of hunger between meals. Or just pile them onto a plate with some meatballs for a fully spherical meal.

Smash Foods Blueberry Superfood Fruit Spread

This is a little dorky to say but I just love the name Smash Foods. Because they’re right. They really do smash foods into fruit spreads and I love that. What whimsy! This blueberry fruit spread earns superfood status because it’s infused with chia seeds and dates (with a little lemon thrown in). Costco isn’t stocking your typical fruit spread. They’ve got the super fruit spread!

Cuisine Adventures Chicken Naan Bites

Holy bananas! Indian-inspired butter sauce with chicken inside little naan bites! Yeah, this is what I’m all about. I will absolutely obliterate a plate of these right out of the air fryer after a bit of gardening. Or even completely sober. Costco really cooked up with these ones so we’ve got to check them out this week.

Love-Me-Sweet Honey Lemonade

I’m a little infatuated with Din Tai Fung’s honey lemonade at the moment so this is coming in at the perfect time. Don’t get me wrong, I still see a few trips to DTF (actually maybe I shouldn’t abbreviate that one) in my future but this will get me through between trips. Love-Me-Sweet’s honey lemonade from Costco comes in a two-pack so there’s more to share throughout the week!
