Once again it’s that time of the week when Publix switches out all of the items in their BOGO product catalog and selects new products for us to save money on. It’s certainly something we all appreciate as Publix shoppers in this time of ever-rising food costs. But we will be the first to admit that it becomes a bit overwhelming when on top of having to grocery shop, you also have to dedicate time to sifting through every product being offered on BOGO so that you are spending our money the wisest.

That’s why we here at Sporked like to lend a helping hand to our dear readers, and let you all know what our recommendations are from this week’s offerings. Here’s what we think you should have in mind during this week’s Publix haul.
Fresh Attitude Lettuce
Part of our job as food writers is to keep an eye on recalls that are affecting everyday shoppers here in the States. And, with a summer full of different bacteria outbreaks, we’ve been making sure that what we’ve been recommending to you all hasn’t been any of the products included these recalls. Fresh Attitude is one of those products that has so far been free of the contagions, and that we generally find to be reliable in quality and taste. This week, they’re on BOGO too, and we can load up on all things fresh before diving headfirst into heftier meals for the fall and winter.
Atalanta Halloumi Cheese
Let’s say you’re trying to diversify your protein intake and mix up your day-to-day routine. In a lot of countries and cultures, firm cheeses like paneer and Halloumi help fill in some of those protein gaps. Here in the United States, though, those cheeses can’t get quite expensive since they aren’t typically made here. They’re all imported and rack up quite a high price tag. Luckily for us, Atalanta’s Halloumi Cheese is on BOGO this week at Publix so we can stock up guilt free.
Waterloo Sparkling Water
It’s our opinion here at Sporked that Waterloo is a generally underrated sparkling water brand. It’s one of those sleeper hits that only true sparkling water lovers will always have them on hand. While that sentiment might be a bit dramatic, it does show an extra level of sparkling water appreciation for someone to have Waterloo stocked up in their home. This week, you can be that person with some extra flavors on hand too.
Trü Frü Frozen Chocolate Covered Fruit
There’s nothing really seasonal about Trü Frü’s frozen fruit, but let’s just say it’s because it’s the end of summer that we’re gonna be looking to stock up on some of these chocolate covered frozen berries. Trü Frü are super satisfying and still maintain a certain lightness about them since they’re mostly just fruit with a light layer of chocolate coating. But, they are expensive. For at least this week, though, we have a bit of an extra reason to buy a couple bags to keep on hand when we get a hankering for summer produce deeper into the “-ber” months.
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Snack Size Treats
It’s officially the first week of fall, so naturally we’re looking forward to the big holiday to come: Halloween! And honestly, it’s hard to think of a more iconic candy to receive or eat on Halloween than a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. We know them, we love them, and now we can stock up for less. At least we’ll have our candy sorted out early so we can focus the rest of our energy on decor and costumes.
