Papa Murphy’s $10 Jack-O Pizza Is Back For Halloween

Papa Murphy’s Jack-O Pizza is back for October, turning a large pizza into a jack-o’-lantern with a pepperoni smile and black olive eyes. It’s available for $10 throughout the month, and because this is Papa Murphy’s, you take it home and bake it yourself.

So technically, you still get a Halloween activity out of it. You just get to eat this one afterward.

And there’s significantly less chance of finding a rotting pumpkin on your porch in November because you kept telling yourself you’d deal with it tomorrow.

What’s On Papa Murphy’s Jack-O Pizza?

The Jack-O Pizza is shaped like a jack-o’-lantern, with pepperoni forming its big, toothy smile and two black olives for eyes. It turns out it doesn’t really take much to make a pizza look like a pumpkin. Move the pepperoni into a smile. Two olives for eyes. Done.

There’s no attempt to construct eyebrows out of onions or give it a sausage nose. The olives are enough. Take those away and I’m not sure the pepperoni smile alone is getting us all the way to jack-o’-lantern status.

Papa Murphy’s has also saved you the worst part of actual pumpkin carving. There are no handfuls of wet pumpkin guts to scoop out, no seeds stuck to your arms, and no knife slowly becoming more dangerous as everything gets progressively slimier.

You just have to bake it. Papa Murphy’s is a take-and-bake pizza chain, so your Jack-O Pizza comes home uncooked. They’ve done most of the pumpkin carving for you. Your job is to put the finished face in the oven.

There’s A $15 Jack-O Pizza And Cookie Dough Deal

Papa Murphy’s is also bringing back its “Scream of a Deal.”

For $15, you get a large Jack-O Pizza plus an order of Papa Murphy’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Pizza and cookie dough for $15 is already pretty compelling. The fact that one of them is staring at you is just a perk of Halloween.

You can also upgrade to a family-size Jack-O Pizza for another $3 if your Halloween festivities involve more people. I’m assuming the face gets bigger, too, although I would quite like to see the family-size version with the exact same two olive eyes.

Just an enormous pizza staring back at you with two tiny olives.

How Long Is Papa Murphy’s Jack-O Pizza Available?

The $10 Jack-O Pizza and $15 Scream of a Deal are available at participating Papa Murphy’s locations from October 1st through October 31st.

So you have the entire month to outsource your pumpkin carving to Papa Murphy’s.

They’ll handle the face. You handle the oven. Just try to get it in there without moving an eye. Nobody wants a jack-o’-lantern with one eye sliding down its face. Actually, it’s Halloween. That probably still works.
