Halloween is almost here, so if you’re not feeling spooky just yet, I’ve got something that’ll make your days more festive: Trader Joe’s has a whole bunch of Halloween-inspired foods that are as delicious as they are fun to eat.

Trader Joe’s is my go-to for fresh seasonal finds, and Halloween is one of the best seasons to shop here. Sure, there are plenty of pumpkin-filled and flavored treats on the store’s shelves, but there are also a number of Halloween-exclusive finds in fun shapes that’ll satisfy your snack cravings and add a little whimsy to your day.

Ghosts & Bats Crispy Potato Snacks

Potato chips are a pretty flawless snack, but Trader Joe’s is making them far more fun ahead of Halloween. Stop by your local store to pick up a bag of Ghosts & Bats Crispy Potato Snacks, which are essentially baked potato chips in the shape of ghoulish white ghosts and black winged bats.

These savory, Halloween-inspired potato snacks are less oily and plenty solid, with a taste that’s slightly reminiscent of veggie straws, but better for dipping. Pair them with one of TJ’s iconic refrigerated dip options, and you’ve got a ready-made snack for your Halloween parties or any October afternoon.

Halloween Joe-Joe’s Cookies

Trader Joe’s Joe-Joe’s Cookies are iconic in their own right, and they’re released in a variety of fun seasonal flavors throughout the year. But if you’re a spooky season fan, then you’re going to want to stock your cart with the Halloween version, which is perhaps the most colorful of all.

These Oreo dupes are essentially just like the Halloween Oreos you’ll find in a typical grocery store. They feature black (and chocolate-flavored) cookies plus a center filling of orange (vanilla-flavored, as always) cream. It’s basically a classic sandwich cookie with an eye-popping and super seasonal twist. And yes, they taste just as good as they always do.

Wicked Good Mini Chocolate Bars

Craving some good ol’ Halloween candy? Well, you can pick up a perfectly-sized bag at TJ’s right now. The Wicked Good Mini Chocolate Bars are a variety pack of candy dupes — you’ll get a mix of miniature bars that sure taste an awful lot like Milky Ways, 3 Musketeers, Snickers, and Kit Kats, all for a budget-friendly price.

Even more importantly, each 14.7-ounce bag of these mini chocolate bars are trick-or-treat ready. The bag is smaller than the jumbo-sized Halloween candy packs you might pick up at other stores, but if you’re planning to rip it open and enjoy what’s inside yourself, then I’d say it makes the perfect size for mid-day or late-night snacking (and yes, it’s very easy to eat an entire one yourself).

Haunted House Chocolate Cookie Kit

Lastly, whether you have kids at home or are a big gingerbread house enthusiast yourself, I highly recommend picking up Trader Joe’s Haunted House Chocolate Cookie Kit. It’s just like a gingerbread house you’d piece together and “cement” with frosting during the winter holidays, but with a slightly spooky twist. It’s an edible haunted house, complete with black (chocolate) cookie components, orange-colored frosting, and Halloween-inspired candies for decorating.

All of the pre-cut panels look like they belong to a haunted house, too, from the pitched roof to the Jack-o-lantern-shaped door to the details like a black cat, witch’s hat, and candy pieces shaped like bones, bats, and fallen leaves. You’ll have a hard time finding a better take on food-based decorations — and it’s so much fun to build.
