Taco Bell is one of those funny places where their newly released items are quite hit and miss as to whether they’re going to be given the ceremony of a full marketing push. Even just this week, we’ve seen the Milkbar collaboration of the Birthday Cake Empanadas being pushed on every avenue. From social media, the Taco Bell app, and even the drive-through menus themselves, they are getting all of the attention.

But at the same time, Taco Bell just released two new menu item that fans have been eagerly waiting to hear announced. And yet, fans didn’t even know that they had been released until seeing them listed on the menus themselves. We here at Sporked have even been eagerly waiting to hear this news ourselves, so today we’re here to spread the good word.
Crunchy, Cheesy, And Oh-So New
After some brief market testing over the summer, the Double Dipping Burritos and Crunchadilla have caught our eye as they are making their way onto the Taco Bell menus nationwide. You might remember the Cheesy Dipping Burritos that we saw on the menu last year, but these are distinctly elevated. An order of Double Dipping Burritos comes as two miniature burritos and a split dipping cup with spicy ranch on one side and seasoned, crushed tortilla chips mixed with cheddar cheese on the other.
You have two options for fillings in these burritos. Either you can order them with marinated steak or slow-roasted chicken. Regardless, they will also have avocado ranch and Taco Bell’s signature three-cheese blend in them too. These can be ordered as part of the $9 Discovery Luxe Box or on their own for $5.99. Stay tuned for our official Sporked review.
Joining the Double Dipping Burritos as nationally available menu items is the Crunchadilla. It is filled with grilled chicken, the three-cheese blend, sour cream, Creamy Jalapeño Sauce, and an inserted layer of a crispy tortilla shell like we see in the Crunchwraps. Of course, it is all layered and grilled within a flour tortilla shell.
Similarly to what we saw in the market tests for this item, you can get this in a classic or a Sriracha Chicken variety. For the Sriracha Chicken Crunchadilla, they’re simply substituting the Creamy Jalapeño Sauce with Sriracha Sauce. This new menu item is only $2 on the Luxe Value Menu.
Some Bonus Additions
While we were primarily looking forward to seeing those two menu items, they are also introducing Creamy Sriracha Chicken Nacho Fries and three new drinks. The loaded fries take a layer of Taco Bell’s iconic nacho fries and top it with slow-roasted chicken, Sriracha Sauce, nacho cheese sauce, the three-cheese blend, and pico de gallo. These are a limited-edition menu item and ring in at $5.49. Order these while you still can, if you’re interested.
The first of the new Refrescas to be added to the menu is the Strawberry Dream Refresca that uses vanilla creamer, lemonade, and strawberry flavor. The Pineapple Dragonfruit Dream Refresca uses lemonade, pineapple flavor, vanilla creamer, and freeze-dried dragonfruit pieces. This one is available as a freeze, too. If you aren’t into the idea of dirty sodas, then you’re probably going to want to skip these new drink options. But if you like that creamy-fruity combination, then these might be worth checking out.
