Oh, Costco. You’ve done a lot for us this year, from letting us eat everything at your food court on camera to inspiring one of our most fun (and physically active) video series yet: Costco Scavenger Hunts, where we see how fast we can find grocery items in your massive warehouses. You even committed to my personal favorite bit of 2025: suing the United States federal government. I’ve never been more proud to be a card-carrying Costco member. And since you’ve done so much for us, we’re here to celebrate you—specifically, two of the best Costco products we tried for the first time this year and couldn’t shut up about.

- Kirkland Signature Smoked Pulled Pork
-
Sometimes, we love a product so much we immediately grab the camera to start filming our in-the-moment reaction. That’s what happened with Kirkland’s Smoked Pulled Pork, which we cooked in the microwave and still considered it “restaurant quality,” per our official review of the best pulled pork at the grocery store. The shredded meat is so unbelievably tender, with a deep hickory smokiness that wows you on first taste. We really thought this would be our #1 best Costco product of the year, however…

- Kirkland Signature Garlic Butter Shrimp
-
Behold: Costco’s glorious, gorgeous, and glistening Garlic Butter Shrimp. This giant box of frozen shrimp scampi looks and tastes like a damn luxury. The garlic butter that coats each shrimp melts when you nuke it, creating a linguine-ready sauce with the perfect amount of garlic. Seriously, you don’t need to doctor this at all. The shrimp stay nice and firm, too. You could absolutely convince someone this came out of a take-out container. As usual, Costco, you’ve outdone yourself this year.
