The Domino’s pizza tracker changed the game. When it launched in 2008, it gave customers access to the knowledge that we all always wanted: Namely, when your pizza was being made, and where the hell it was. Since then, the Domino’s pizza tracker has given hungry people information on 2.5 billion orders and spawned countless imitators. Talk about a legacy.

Well, nearly 20 years after its inception, the tracker is now getting a rejig – in a good way. Are we intrigued? You bet we are. Here’s what Domino’s is cooking up.
Domino’s Pizza Tracker Updates
In the year of our lord 2026, Domino’s has decided to grace us with even more info, so you can essentially track your pizza down to the second. According to Nation’s Restaurant News, the chain is now ensuring that its tracker has more precise ready times, more details overall on how your order’s getting on, and live driver updates. You’ll also be able to keep track of order updates on your iPhone lock screen, so you don’t even have to go through the extraordinary hassle of picking up your phone and flicking it open. It’s not sparing anything here, guys.
The news was celebrated by Domino’s Global CMO Kate Trumbull over on LinkedIn, in an announcement that may or may not have had some input from a copywriter. “The refreshed Tracker is a gamechanger, it’s more informative than ever, giving all the pizza fanatics out there an even better front-row seat to every sizzling step, from the makeline to oven to that mouthwatering “mmm!”,” read the post. “With more accurate ready times powered by custom AI order tracking, Live Activities for iOS users, and streamlined Tracker stages, the team’s commitment to enhancing the customer experience is evident.” Corporate speak? We’ve never heard of it.
The Future’s Digital
In case anybody was in any doubt whatsoever, this is a big moment for Domino’s, especially because it now does the vast majority of its business online. In 2025, over 85% of its domestic retail sales were conducted through its digital channels, and these new updates to its order tracker will ensure that its online avenues are keeping up with those increasingly offered by other food delivery services.
The order tracker update also follows the refreshes that Domino’s has made elsewhere. Last year, it gave its whole brand a gentle rejig, using new colors and fonts to inject life into the legacy brand. It’s also been creating value for its customers elsewhere, in the form of actual money-off deals: A couple of weeks back, Domino’s brought back its Best Deal Ever, which gives people the chance to grab almost any of its pizzas for just $9.99. And now, you can track those pizzas with even more accuracy. We just loooove convenience.
