Get your Napalm Era ‘fit in order, because McDonald’s is launching not one but two KPop Demon Hunters meals on March 31—and they’re not Happy Meals, they’re grown-up meals. And McDonald’s didn’t just toss some burgers into a branded box. These meals actually bring some South Korean flavors to the table. We got the press release, so let’s get into the details.

What are the new KPop Demon Hunters McDonald’s items?

There’s a Saja Boys Breakfast Meal and a HUNTRIX Meal. Here’s what you get in each:

Saja Boys Breakfast Meal

  • Spicy Saja McMuffin: Sausage McMuffin with egg, topped with Spicy Saja Sauce.
  • Hash Browns: Just your standard McDonald’s Hash Browns.
  • Small Soft Drink: Which little soda pop will you choose?

HUNTRIX Meal

  • 10-piece McNuggets: Classic McNuggets—they’re gonna be, gonna be golden.
  • Hunter Sauce: Sweet chili sauce
  • Demon Sauce: Purple spicy mustard sauce. Why purple? Demon patterns, of course!
  • Ramyeon McShaker Fries: Okay, now we’re talking. This is how it’s done, done, done (I’m sorry, I can’t help myself, my children have listened to this soundtrack so much I think it’s the only music my car is capable of playing). These fries come with a soy, garlic, sesame, and spice seasoning inspired by ramyeon aka Korean instant noodles (HUNTRIX’s pre-show snack of choice).
  • Medium Soft Drink: It’s a drink. It’s bigger than the one you get in the Saja Boys Meal. What a takedown.

Derpy McFlurry

Everyone’s favorite never-blinking blue tiger gets its own menu item. The Derpy McFlurry is a blend of vanilla soft serve, “berry popping pearls,” and wild berry sauce.

What do you get with the KPop Demon Hunters meals?

While these meals don’t come with toys (they aren’t Happy Meals, remember?) or even little hats for your pets, they do come with collectible card packs featuring a photocard of either HUNTRIX or the Saja Boys and a Derpy access card. What’s a Derpy access card? It’s a card featuring Derpy the tiger and a QR code. Enter the code in the McDonald’s app by April 26 and you’ll get access to “exclusive content.”

Will these meals be good enough to seal the Honmoon? Or were they sent here by Gwi-Ma to curse our souls? Check back for our review!

About the Author

Justine Sterling

Hi! I’m the editor-in-chief of Sporked. I will never turn down a fresh-shucked oyster but I’ll also leap at whatever new product Reese’s releases and I love a Tostitos Hint of Lime, even if there is no actual lime in the ingredients. Why you should trust me: I have been writing about food and beverages for well over a decade and am an avid at-home cook and snacker. I began my career writing about fine dining and recipes, moved into cocktails and spirits, and now I talk about groceries. If you can eat it or drink it, I’ve probably written about it. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now). Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test! Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
