A New Holiday Reese’s Shape Has Already Hit Shelves

There’s a new Christmas Reese’s shape—and it’s already on shelves. Behold! Mini Reese’s Christmas Trees! Here’s everything we know about these new Reese’s treats. 

What exactly is the new Reese’s shape?

It’s a Reese’s Christmas tree—but small. And unwrapped. Per the packaging, these new Reese’s Christmas trees seem to be shaped more like actual Christmas trees than the big Reese’s trees, which look more like elongated amoebas—even on the packaging. The new mini trees are advertised as being more defined and somewhat flatter than the big trees. 

Can we really believe the packaging?

No. As we learned when we tasted this year’s new Reese’s Mini Pumpkins, the shapes on the packaging aren’t always what you actually get. The pumpkins ended up looking more like fat little toes with tiny toenails than pumpkins. So who knows what these new Reese’s Christmas trees will look like. 

What do you mean these new Reese’s are unwrapped?

Like the mini pumpkins, the new mini Christmas trees are simply loose in a bag. So you can just reach on in and grab a handful for snacking. Or you can use them as festive ice cream or cupcake toppings. 

Will these new Reese’s Christmas trees be any good?

While I can say whether or not they’ll look appetizing, I can pretty much guarantee they’ll taste good. The mini pumpkins had a great ratio of peanut butter filling to chocolate, and I have no reason to believe these new mini Reese’s will be any different. 

When and where can you buy new Mini Reese’s Christmas Trees?

These new Reese’s have already been spotted on shelves and they aren’t exclusive to any store. So if you want to skip Halloween and head right to Christmas, you absolutely can.
