Move over Starburst, there’s a new candy partnering up with Sparkling Ice. Want a hint? It’s everyone’s favorite candy to buy in an airport. Your mom probably has a roll in her purse. Yep! It’s Lifesavers! Sparkling Ice and Lifesavers are collabing on four new Sparkling Ice flavors, here’s everything we know.

What are the new Lifesavers Sparkling Ice flavors?

The two brands are joining forces on three permanent new flavors and one limited-edition flavor. Joining the main line-up are Wild Cherry, Strawberry, and Pineapple (the best Lifesavers flavor). The limited-edition flavor is a big deal for Sparkling Ice—it’s Green Apple, the brand’s first ever bright green drink.

Why did it take so long for Sparkling Ice to create a green drink?

Apparently, it’s tough to make a bright green coloring from natural sources.“As a company, we’ve wanted to add green to our rainbow of Sparkling Ice flavors in the U.S. for years, but that tantalizing color remained out of reach—until now,” said research and development manager Emily Cruz in a press release. “I’m proud of how our team connects culinary creativity and science to deliver innovation.”

When will these new Sparkling Ice flavors drop?

You can get the Lifesavers Sparkling Ice flavors right now at Kroger stores and Publix, as well as on Amazon. A full roll-out to all major retailers will come this spring.

What else is coming for Sparkling Ice?

According to Cruz, the new green drink has emboldened the team and they’ll be adding a “patriotic” blue flavor to the line-up later in the spring.

Hi! I’m the editor-in-chief of Sporked. I will never turn down a fresh-shucked oyster but I’ll also leap at whatever new product Reese’s releases and I love a Tostitos Hint of Lime, even if there is no actual lime in the ingredients. Why you should trust me: I have been writing about food and beverages for well over a decade and am an avid at-home cook and snacker. I began my career writing about fine dining and recipes, moved into cocktails and spirits, and now I talk about groceries. If you can eat it or drink it, I’ve probably written about it. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now). Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test! Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
