The Dubai Chocolate propaganda trend of 2025 is still kicking. Pistachio and phyllo wrapped in chocolate doesn’t have the same weight it had last year, but we’re still seeing new entries like Lindt’s Dubai-Style Chocolate Eggs, Crumbl’s Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Brownie, and the topic of today’s review: Nothing Bundt Cakes’ new Dubai chocolate bundt.

Yes, our favorite bundt-cakery really took their time with this flavor concept, so we’ve got high hopes for the end result. Nothing Bundt Cakes was nice enough to reserve a Dubai Chocolate Bundtlet from an early batch for us to review; let’s see whether this was worth the wait.

Nothing Bundt Cakes Dubai Chocolate Cake Review

Pros: In my review of Nothing Bundt Cakes’ Chocolate Marble cake, I said, “I hope we see this [frosting] recipe return on many more cakes in the future.” My prayers were answered! This cake is slathered in that same rich, fantastic chocolate ganache that I loved back in January.

Underneath that frosting is a chocolate cake as rich and moist as you’d expect from Nothing Bundt Cakes. While I initially thought there were crunchy little pistachios baked into this cake, they’re actually chocolate chips. The actual cake here is N.B.C.’s standard “Chocolate Chocolate Chip” variant; they’ve turned it into “Dubai Chocolate” by adding a pistachio-and-phyllo filling. My sample didn’t have a ton of this filling, but I was genuinely impressed with how crunchy the phyllo shreds remained after baking. All credit to Nothing Bundt Cakes; I don’t think there’s any better way to tackle “Dubai Chocolate” in cake form than this.

Cons: The gold leaf “sprinkles” are so pointless, I truly think less of this cake for having them. That Chocolate Marble cake was topped with these fantastic little crunchy wafer-orbs. Why couldn’t we make those in gold for this cake?

How do I get Nothing Bundt Cakes’ Dubai Chocolate bundt cake for myself?

Nothing Bundt Cakes’ Dubai Chocolate Cake is only available now through March 15th. Don’t expect getting this cake to be a cakewalk either. Each N.B.C. bakery is producing a limited number of these cakes and will likely sell out before closing each day (which is crazy since I’ve found Nothing Bundt Cakes’ locations close weirdly early). You can’t special-order this cake in a different size either; Nothing Bundt Cakes’ Dubai Chocolate is exclusively available in their Bundtlet format. If you want to get your hands on one, make sure you order online for pickup ASAP.
