Shake Shack is currently in the middle of a whopper of a deal, through which it’s giving out free chicken sandwiches every Sunday, provided that you spend a certain amount (which isn’t that much, just FYI).

What Is Shake Shack’s Free Chicken Sandwich Deal?

The burger chain is currently offering customers a free Chicken Shack Sandwich with every qualifying purchase on Sundays across its stores nationwide. To get it, you have to spend $10 or more on food or beverage products at your chosen Shake Shack, and then use the code CHICKENSUNDAY (all caps) at checkout.

Shake Shack has actually been running this deal for a while (@thefreebieguy first pointed it out back in January), but the good news is that it’s going to be around for quite a bit longer. The restaurant’s running this free chicken sandwich deal through Sunday, June 28. That’s three more months of free chicken.

Are There Any T’s & C’s on This One?

Oh, you bet there are. The full terms and conditions of the free chicken sandwich offer are over on Shake Shack’s website, but we’ll break down the key information for ya. First off, this deal is only available on orders placed at a kiosk in-store, or for delivery or pick-up via Shake Shack’s app or website. You can’t get a free chicken sandwich if you’re making a drive-thru order or one through a third-party service like DoorDash, so don’t even think about it.

It’s also worth pointing out that not every Shake Shack is offering this deal. On its website, it notes that it’s not available at Shake Shacks in “airports, stadiums, arenas, travel plazas, and museums,” and is only valid at participating locations. Generally, that means that most other restaurants are included, but we’d check before you head down specifically for your free sandwich.
