There’s no denying that I love chocolate and sweet treats, however, I’m also a sucker for a good salad. I know, everything in moderation, right? Or at least that’s what they say. (Do I always listen? Heck no.) Anyway, Sweetgreen just added a new chicken sesame crunch salad salad to its menu and, as a sucker for salads, I knew I had to try it. Here’s my official review of this new Sweetgreen salad.

Sweetgreen Chicken Sesame Crunch Salad Review
I tried this salad today and without sounding cliche it really is an explosion of flavors — sweet and refreshing while also hearty and flavorful. The crunch from the noodles paired with the soft lettuce make it satisfying and tasty. Each bite actually has flavor — a rare feat for a salad.
You get a mix of antibiotic-free roasted chicken, raw carrots, organic shredded kale, chopped romaine, napa cabbage slaw, sesame crunch, and crispy noodles paired with a limited time citrus sesame vinaigrette, which is to die for. I’ll be thinking about it for at least the next 24 hours. It tastes like orangey-lemony goodness (it’s practically drinkable). Plus, unlike so many salads that are just limp lettuce oversaturated in dressing (the amount that makes you wish you had just ordered a Big Mac instead) this one is dressed just enough. The chicken is actually pretty good, too — not dry or gummy — better than most I’ve tried from fast casual salad joints.
How Much Is the Sweetgreen Chicken Sesame Crunch Salad?
If we’re talking macros, it has 615 calories, 35 grams of protein, 54 grams of carbohydrates, and 29 grams of fat. In terms of price, the salad is $17.55 — definitely a pretty penny, but you’re paying for the name and the organic ingredients. Will your wallet be happy? Prob not, but your taste buds will be.
