Previously, we celebrated the release of Texas Roadhouse Rolls at Walmart, as well as the chain’s Honey Cinnamon Butter and their steak sauces. But Texas Roadhouse is not stopping there, as they’ve now dropped not one, not two, but THREE different dips exclusively available at Walmart. Behold: Texas Roadhouse Cactus Blossom Dip, Fried Pickle Dip, and Rattlesnake Bites Dip.
I hear you typing in the comments now, “But Tyler, how are they?” Fear not, dear reader. I have located all three Texas Roadhouse dips so I can tell you which dip is worth tracking down for your own dipping pleasure.
(Note: In order to achieve a clean and accurate test of the dips, I used Tostitos Scoops in order to test each dip with an instrument that will not impact the flavor.)
- Texas Roadhouse Cactus Blossom Dip
-
Pros: It tastes like a Cactus Blossom from Texas Roadhouse. The onion flavor is STRONG, followed by a nice kick of Cajun spice.
Cons: I didn’t really detect any heat until I ate WELL over two (or three) servings worth of the dip. While it does have a slow building spice, it’s not what I would expect. I don’t need it to set my tongue on fire, but I would love to see it dialed up another notch or two.

- Texas Roadhouse Rattlesnack Bites Dip
-
Pros: This is incredibly flavorful—it is cheesy, it is creamy, and it is spicy, all in one bite. The heat level is much better than the Cactus Blossom Dip. You very much get the heat of jalapeno peppers. Rattlesnake Bites are often described as being a combination of jalapeno poppers and mozzarella sticks, and honestly this tastes like a dip-ified version of those two appetizers smashed together. I am truly impressed.
Cons: This dip is SO addictive!!! That may not be a con, but it is when I eat half the container in one sitting! Seriously, this stuff is fantastic. The only “con” worth noting here is that if you don’t like spicy food, this one isn’t for you.

- Texas Roadhouse Fried Pickle Dip
-
Pros: Texas Roadhouse has done it again. They captured the flavor and essence of fried pickles in a dip. Not only do you get the strong, very real tasting flavor of dill pickle, but you also get the flavor of ranch as well as notes of the breading itself. It would be great for veggies.
Cons: This dip got old a lot faster for me than the others. That’s not to say that it’s bad by any means, just that I had an easier time stopping myself from consuming half of the container. (I’ll leave that up to you if it’s a pro or a con.) It’s also worth mentioning that pickle is, of course, a very polarizing flavor. So, if pickle isn’t your thing, this won’t be for you!

Verdict: Texas Roadhouse Dips
Texas Roadhouse absolutely knocked it out of the park with all three of these dips. If you’re a spicy food fan, go for the Rattlesnake Bites Dip. If you’re looking for something super flavorful with not as much heat but with a tiny kick, I’d go for the Cactus Blossom Dip, and if you’re a fan of pickles—you know where to look. All in all, if you’re a fan of Texas Roadhouse’s appetizers, I think you’ll be happy with these (particularly at the $3.24 price point that I bought them at—that’s a great deal!).
