It’s the end of the year and everyone seems to be suffering from that senioritis that strikes between Thanksgiving and January 1, but I’m not phoning in these Costco hauls, you guys. I don’t want to get you too excited, so I’ll just promise that there’s a lot of variety in our roundup of what to buy at Costco this month. Surely, you’re thinking this is going to be a holiday-themed Costco haul. It’s December after all. But as your trusted Costco correspondent, I take seriously my duty to report back about all the new and exciting things that I see at Costco each month, so while there certainly will be some holiday themes going on, you’ll just have to keep reading to see how far we stray from that theme. I WON’T BE BOUND BY A THEME.

Okay, sorry. Let’s go ahead and talk about all the best things to buy at Costco this month.

Kirkland Signature Blueberry Caramelized Cheesecake Croissant

The devil works hard but the Costco bakery suppliers work harder. Seriously, they don’t get nearly enough props for all the new products that are constantly materializing. What we have here are butter croissants with a cheesecake filling, blueberry, a smattering a blueberries, and some streusel on top for good measure. People online are pretty much freaking out for these things. Grab a six-pack for a cute snack to go with your morning coffee.

Elmhurst Unsweetened Milked Cashews

Speaking of coffee! I’ll be honest with you, this isn’t a new product and it isn’t that exciting, but it still stopped me in my tracks. “Milked cashews”? That’s your tagline? Sure, “cashew milk” would be more appealing, but, hey, it got my attention, so I have to respect the hustle. And maybe the California of it all is getting to me because, sure, why not add milked cashews to the sea of milk alternatives.

Simple Mills Sweet Thins Variety 24-Pack

This 24-pack comes with two flavors of Simple Mills’ sweet crackers: Chocolate Brownie and Honey Cinnamon. I guess you could say this fits a holiday theme. Trying not to overdo it on the holiday cookies when you aren’t actively at a Christmas party or cookie swap? Welp, 24 packs of chocolate-flavored “thins” should keep you busy.

Snack Factory White Chocolate & Peppermint Pretzel Crisps

Costco’s peppermint bark has a cult following and I love that for them. Personally, though I am a huge sucker for a blend of salty and sweet. Which makes me thankful that Snack Factory’s White Chocolate & Peppermint pretzel crisps have a bit of both. So, if you’re like me and you just need a bit more than the peppermint bark has to offer, Costco’s got you covered with a backup plan.

La Colombe Holiday Draft Latte Variety Pack

Have you ever been in a big rush and brushed your teeth while you’re in the middle of your morning coffee? Well, suffice it to say that peppermint coffee is not everyone—BUT if it’s for at least one person in your household, this La Colombe latte variety pack is a fun holiday buy. You get caramel, vanilla, and peppermint mocha lattes (four of each) in this 12-pack of cans. Just make sure to hide the ones you want in the back of the fridge or the crisper drawer.

Buldak Hot Sauce Original and Carbonara

Okay, I know I said this wasn’t a holiday-themed roundup, but if anyone wants to buy these for me for Christmas, there’s NOTHING I can do to stop you. Just saying. Samyang, everyone’s favorite purveyor of spicy ramen noodles, is now bottling hot sauces in the two most popular Buldak flavors: Original and Carbonara. A few dashes and, voila, everything you eat is spicy noodles. Burger? Spicy noodles! Chicken wings? Spicy noodles! Okay, you get the point. DM me for my P.O. box number for gift-giving purposes.
