While we wait for the upcoming (and surprisingly gluten-free) new Shortbread Lindor truffle to drop, I’ve got the newly returned Pumpkin Spice Lindor truffle to review.
Another pumpkin spice product? Aren’t we done with that yet? Nope! While we have anecdotally seen searches for pumpkin spice products drop, the manufacturers haven’t caught on. So, 2025 is yet another year absolutely flooded with new and returning pumpkin spice products. But, hey, we’re still talking about a Lindor truffle. And, if we learned anything from our ranking of 40 Lindor truffle flavors, it’s that Lindor truffles are pretty darn good—with an occasional big miss.
Are Lindor Pumpkin Spice truffles any good? Read on to find out.
Pros: This isn’t just a pumpkin spice-flavored truffle—this is a pumpkin-flavored truffle. It’s straight up gourd-y. And that fruity, earthy pumpkin flavor acts as a nice bridge between the creamy milk chocolate and the baking spices. Speaking of the spices, they are well edited. These aren’t punch-you-in-the-face cinnamon and nutmeg flavors. They’re restrained.
Cons: If you don’t like pumpkin spice anything, you’re not going to like this. While Lindt manages to blend the flavors of pumpkin and spices together with chocolate in a way I haven’t seen done before, it still tastes a bit like a craft store—as all pumpkin spice products do.
Verdict: If you like pumpkin spice things at all, you should give this a try. It’s an elegant seasonal chocolate. And it’s only available for a limited time, so grab a bag if you see them!
Hi! I’m the editor-in-chief of Sporked. I will never turn down a fresh-shucked oyster but I’ll also leap at whatever new product Reese’s releases and I love a Tostitos Hint of Lime, even if there is no actual lime in the ingredients.
Why you should trust me: I have been writing about food and beverages for well over a decade and am an avid at-home cook and snacker. I began my career writing about fine dining and recipes, moved into cocktails and spirits, and now I talk about groceries. If you can eat it or drink it, I’ve probably written about it.
What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now).
Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test!
Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
