Haven’t you heard? It’s 2016 again! We all get a do-over! Hooray! Oh, wait. It’s just a social media trend. Well, at least we all get to show off how good we looked 10 years ago on Insta and eat broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl again. Because Panera is offering a throwback menu, so you can eat like you did a decade ago (your digestive system can totally handle all the same stuff, right?). Here’s the deal with Panera’s 2016 throwback menu.
What’s on Panera’s 2016 menu?
Panera isn’t releasing the full 2016 menu, instead they’re focusing on four of the greatest hits.
Here’s what you can get:
- Bacon Turkey Bravo: roasted turkey, smoked bacon, aged white cheddar, mixed greens, tomatoes, and “Bravo sauce” (kinda like thousand island dressing) on tomato basil bread.
- Broccoli Cheddar Soup in a Bread Bowl: the best Panera soup in a sourdough bread bowl.
- Chocolate Chipper Cookie: classic chocolate chip cookie with semi-sweet chocolate chunks and milk chocolate flakes.
- Agave Lemonade: lemonade sweetened with both agave syrup and sugar.
How can you order this stuff?
The 2016 throwback bundle is available only on the Panera Bread app.
How long will it last?
Not long! You can order these throwback items as a bundle from now through Friday (1/23). But the good news is that all of these individual items will remain on the main Panera Bread menu—you’ll just have to create your own bundle if you want to experience the full 2016 menu.
Is that all?
Nope! Along with the 2016 throwback menu Panera Bread is rereleasing Asiagao Bagel Sticks (also from the 20-teens). Plus, the Chicken Roma and Spicy Steak are now permanently back on the menu. And you can get new breakfast sandwiches on the brand’s Asiago bagels.
