Jeni’s is debuting a new flavor that took a long time to get right.

In a social media announcement, the ice cream brand announced that it teamed up with Verve Coffee (a cult-favorite coffee roaster based in Santa Cruz, CA) to create Jeni’s House Coffee ice cream.

“We’ve been working on this one for over a year (because that’s how long it took to make it perfect), we’re obsessed with it, and we can’t wait to share it with you,” read the Instagram post unveiling the caramel-colored addition to Jeni’s lineup. It will be available in Jeni’s shops starting on February 7, which is National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, but you can order it online starting today.

In the comments, many were thrilled over the flavor’s unveiling. “Soooo happy to see this! Coffee with cream and sugar was my favorite flavor,” read a comment. Another Jenni’s fan wrote that they’d already ordered their own pint: “Can’t wait, mine is on its way right now!!!”

On its site, Jeni’s describes House Coffee’s taste as being akin to opening “a bag of fresh, roasted coffee beans” and breathing it in. “That rich, earthy aroma is exactly what this ice cream tastes like,” reads the landing page for the pint. “We capture that scent by folding coffee into cream, then finish with a dusting of espresso-ground coffee for added depth and pleasant texture. Because nothing hides in ice cream, we use the best coffee we can find, sourced from our friends at Verve Coffee Roasters. Their expertly roasted, direct trade specialty coffee gives this flavor layers of complexity: deep notes of nuts and chocolate, with a bright, clean finish.”

You can purchase a pint for $12 through Jeni’s site, which ships nationwide. There’s a catch, though: You have to order a minimum of 5 pints to get your order shipped.

This isn’t Jeni’s only exciting new flavor. We recently tried a pint of their Bridgerton-inspired Queen Charlotte Sponge Cake, which we loved for its generous helping of raspberry-rose jam and bites of honey sponge cake. Jeni’s is also sharing another ice cream inspired by the hit Netflix series later this month: Earl Grey Crème Brûlée. It’s out on February 12th, but will be purchasable online on February 9th.
