If we were to recap how many flavors Pringles have come in their life span, we’d be here a long, long time. The chip brand is frankly obsessed with putting out as many variations of its product as possible, and it releases them at an almost frantic pace. As you might expect, we’ve tried a bunch of ‘em in our time, and not all of them have been that good – but now and again, Pringles puts out a flavor that we can muster up some genuine excitement for.

Weirdly, though, it also often does this without breathing a damn word in advance. It’s done that again in the last few days. Eagle-eyed Instagram snack account @snacklikeachamp has just spotted all-new Carolina Pulled Pork BBQ Pringles in stores, and we have to say that we’re ready to give them a go. Here’s what we know so far.

BBQ Pringles, But Not as You Know Them

The new Pringles Carolina Pulled Pork BBQ flavor is available now in Walmart, and you can also find it on Instacart. It’s a limited-time drop, so you shouldn’t expect it to be around for too long (although we’re not too surprised at that front – Carolina barbecue is definitely delicious, but it’s probably not going to have the widest appeal out there for a chip).

These Pringles are priced in line with its other products, at a couple of dollars a pop. As for how they taste, we’d hope that this chip, with its literal genius design, has all of the vinegary, savory notes that Carolina barbecue brings to the table, shot through with meatiness from that pulled pork. That said, given how often chip companies say that their product tastes like one thing and it tastes absolutely nothing like said thing, we’re reserving judgment for now. For those averse to heat out there, though, don’t worry: These are mild, so you won’t have to stress too much about spice.

Chips and Guac? We Can Do Better Than That

Carolina Pulled Pork BBQ isn’t the only flavor that Pringles has sprung on us. It’s also re-released its Spicy Guacamole option, which is also available in Walmart. This flavor first came out over 10 years ago, and it began showing up again in mid-2025, before coming and going seemingly at Pringles’ whim. Now, it looks like they’re back once again, although who knows how long for.

Pringles is playing fast and loose with its flavors at the top of 2026, but at least it hasn’t started putting out protein chips yet. It feels like every snack company under the sun is experimenting with protein-rich versions of their products, with Utz being the latest one to crank out protein pretzels and puffs. The thought of that happening to Pringles is a bridge too far for us, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it’s experimenting with them behind the scenes.
