A Swicy Mountain Dew Is Returning, But You’ll Only Find It in One Place

If you’ve been begging for some kind of swicy soda to release soon, I’ve got great news. Unfortunately, that same news will be bad for those of us with normal, healthy taste buds. Mountain Dew is bringing back last year’s Little Caesars-exclusive swicy soda, and we’ll all be paying the price.

Wait, Little Caesars had their own exclusive Mountain Dew?

That’s right, the home of the Hot-N-Ready had a Dew of their very own. While Little Caesars spent a few years as the exclusive seasonal home of Pepsi Pineapple, the pizza chain decided to switch their soda offering from “underrated pizza topping” to “overrated flavor trend” in 2025. Last year brought us our first taste of Mountain Dew Mango Rush: Sweet Mango Heat Flavored. Our own Tyler Bowers had plenty of positive things to say about this swicy soda in his review… but I tried it too, and I was not a fan. (Admittedly, I’m pretty biased against mango in all regards.)

Did we need swicy soda the first time, let alone again?

Trends hit everyone differently. I loved the barrage of bomb pop-flavored products we got a few years ago, but I know plenty of people who were tired after just the second popsicle-flavored soda hit shelves. “Swicy” is certainly popular these days, but to paraphrase a recent conversation between a few fellow Sporked writers, the term and concept of swicy are overstaying their welcome.

We could have had a good thing if we’d just stopped all this after everyone realized Mike’s Hot Honey hits on pizza, y’all! Swicy energy drinks, gummies, and crackers are all well and good, but you know the trend is stale when perennial “we only release new products once a year” Peeps are getting into it. (It’s also terrifying to remember this is actually Mountain Dew’s second swicy soda.)

When is Mountain Dew Mango Rush returning to Little Caesars?

Per the up-and-coming Dewspaper social media pages, we’ll see this new batch of Mountain Dew Mango Rush hit Little Caesars this April. The swicy Mango Rush soda hit shelves for the first time last May, so the spring timing is pretty consistent. Hopefully, we’ll see this soda available throughout April and May, with a restock in the middle there. The 2025 release left many people empty-handed after the first rush of superfans and scalpers cleared out the limited stock at each store just a few days into the limited-time period.
