Costco’s Kirkland line really is a thing of beauty. While there can obviously be some duds in there, the store’s private-label line generally flaunts a lot of great items, and some dupes that are definitely worth your time and money (hello, Kirkland egg bites!). And so far in 2026, the store’s been doubling down on adding new products into the mix, like its new Kirkland Signature Lemon Custard Pie, which looks deeeeelish.

So imagine our delight when we found out that Costco has just released a new energy drink… And that it’s almost identical to Celsius. Only much cheaper. Here’s what to know about this new Kirkland find.

Kirkland Signature Sparkling Energy Drink

Costco’s never especially loud about its new product releases, but thanks to the keen eyes of @costcohotfinds, we’ve caught our first look at this energy drink in the wild. Kirkland Signature Sparkling Energy Drinks come in a 24-count variety pack of three flavors: Tropical, Orange, and Peach. Each pack costs $16.99, making every can less than a dollar. When you consider that a twelve-pack of Celsius flavors can be priced at around $20 elsewhere – and that Costco itself sells 24-packs of the drinks for $37.99 – this Kirkland product is clearly a bit of a steal.

Like Celsius, Kirkland Signature Sparkling Energy Drinks are loaded with caffeine (200 milligrams per can, to be precise). They’re also sugar-free and have seven essential vitamins mixed in. While it’s a bit early to pick favorites, the Peach flavor is getting a lot of buzz for being the standout, although generally speaking, people are reacting very positively to all of ‘em.

Costco Fans Are Happy – Celsius Is Not

As is always the way when a lower-priced, just-as-good dupe hits stores, people have rushed to grab these new energy drinks to try them for themselves – which means they’ve been running away from Celsius. Investing.com reported yesterday that Celsius’ stock fell by a whopping 7% after Costco dropped its new dupes.

Although it may well be able to recover, the creation of the new Kirkland Signature Sparkling Energy line might be a long-term headache for Celsius for two reasons: The first being that Costco is a big sales avenue for its drinks, and the second being that these new products indicate that its niche in the market may no longer be safe. Celsius has made a name for itself through its wide range of flavors that feel fresher and more naturally oriented than the likes of Monster and Rockstar, making them a big hit for people who want caffeine without that bizarre energy drink taste that plagues so many other drinks. Now, though, Costco’s coming for the crown.
