Hershey’s Has an All-New Candy That’s a First of Its Kind 

For those occasions when you feel like sharing your candy (which are, if we’re being honest, not that frequent, but hey – we guess sometimes we’re in an altruistic mood), Hershey’s Nuggets are a good choice. These little pieces of creme-filled chocolate feel ever so slightly classier than some of Hershey’s other products, but that doesn’t mean that they’re boring: The candy company is very willing to experiment with the flavors of its Nuggets, as its pumpkin spice latte option confirms.

Now, it’s taking another leap by introducing a raspberry flavor, which seems to be the first time that it’s introduced fruit flavors into its Nuggets line-up. Here’s what to expect. 

Hershey’s Dark Chocolate Raspberry Decadence

Hershey’s Dark Chocolate Raspberry Decadence Nuggets are an interesting twist on the typical flavors of this candy, which tend to be pretty focused on chocolate and nuts (the PSL flavor discussed above notwithstanding). Hershey’s says on its website that its new flavor is “deliciously fruity,” and that “each two bite candy offers rich, delightful, mildly sweet dark chocolate with chocolate raspberry flavored creme filling and is individually wrapped in a stunningly sophisticated magenta foil.” Stunningly sophisticated. Whoever came up with that one, we salute you – that’s a lovely turn of phrase.

Coming in an 8.1-ounce bag, Hershey’s Dark Chocolate Raspberry Decadence Nuggets are, despite us not being the sharing type, great for handing out to your friends or family, and the mix of raspberry and dark chocolate does give them a slightly elevated touch. They’re also an elegant option if you’re looking for something a little different with your Easter candy this year: Throw those individually wrapped little nuggets into a basket or hide them around your garden, and watch the kids go wild. Then, when they’re not a fan of the raspberry flavor, you get to eat them. It’s a win-win.

We’re very glad you asked. Hershey’s Dark Chocolate Raspberry Decadence Nuggets have been out for a couple of weeks now, and according to @candyhunting, they can be found in the wild at Hy-Vee. We do not doubt that they’re in tons of other stores, though, and you can use Hershey’s product locator to track them down. 

As for the other Hershey’s snacks you can snap up this Eastertime, well… there are a lot of them. The candy corp has a handful of new créme egg options out there, as well as a bunch of returning favorites. You won’t want for selection, but none of them have the combo of dark chocolate and raspberry that makes these nuggets so appealing.
