What are Trader Joe’s Cookie Dough Ice Cream Bites?
This isn’t just cookie dough ice cream coated in chocolate. This is vanilla ice cream wrapped in cookie dough, coated in chocolate, and frozen. Yeah. Do you see why everyone is freaking out now? No need to bake or let these bites even thaw. They’re good to go right out of the freezer.
How long will they be available?
There’s no “limited time” tag on the picture on Trader Joe’s website, so that means that, if successful, these could be a regular freezer item for Trader Joe’s. You can get a 6.6 oz bag of these Cookie Dough Ice Cream Bites (that’s 12 bites) for just under $5. Although some Trader Joe’s are already sold out, they should be back in stock by late April.
What are early reviews saying?
While some folks have balked at the price, others are raving about the bites. “These are BEYOND worth the price,” one Redditor wrote. “I have to stop myself from eating them all.” Another commenter wrote, “One of the employees mentioned he was addicted to these, so I HAD to get them…Damn him…I’m addicted.” Yet another wrote simply, “Incredible! 10/10 no notes.”
These bites are so good even cookie dough skeptics are fans. “I’m not a huge fan of cookie dough but an employee was handing out samples and it’s INCREDIBLE,” one reviewer wrote on Reddit. “I didn’t end up buying them but I’ve regretted that every day since.”
So, I’d say the reviews are pret-ty darn good so far. Will we agree? We’ll let you know the second we get our hands on a bag.
