An All-New Nutella Spread Is FINALLY Coming to the U.S. 

The love affair between nuts and chocolate is a tale as old as time, and in 2026 that’s showing no signs of letting up. We’ve seen no shortage of new Dubai-style chocolate products hitting the market in the last few months, with companies like Godiva and Kit Kat getting in on everyone’s relentless desire for pistachios and chocolate to be mashed together. We’ve also seen the perhaps more evergreen combo of chocolate and peanuts continuing to make waves: Just a few days ago, we brought you news that Jif was releasing an all-new Crunchy Peanut Butter & Chocolate, which is due to drop in May.

And now, we have word that Nutella Peanut has finally, finally hit stores in the US, after months of teasing. Here’s what we know. 

Nutella Peanut: We’ve Finally Made It, People

Nutella Peanut marks the first major step-change in the Italian spread’s flavor range in a long time. The spread, which was announced back in 2025, infuses peanuts into its chocolate-forward flavor for the first time, adding a very different note to the traditional hazelnut taste that has made Nutella so popular. Nutella Peanut still has hazelnuts in it, so this isn’t a complete change, but it’s definitely an exciting one. Well, we’re excited, anyway. 

Officially released on April 2, Nutella Peanut has started showing up in supermarkets in the last couple of days. Our sibling-in-arms in everything snacks over on Instagram, @snackhunting, has found it in Woodman’s, and it’s also shown up on the Walmart website, although we should point out that there it’s marked as out of stock. Was it really that much of a smash that it’s now all gone? Or are they still teasing everyone? We don’t know, but we’re sure it’ll be showing up at a store near you soon.

Okay, But Just Tell Us If It’s Any Good!

We’re getting to that, don’t worry! Here’s the good news: According to preliminary reports, it is good. The folks over at Delish tried Nutella Peanut a couple of months ago, and they had nothing but good things to say about it. “I don’t even like Nutella and that would ruin me,” said one taste tester. High praise indeed, people. 

Importantly, if you’re expecting this to be a peanut butter, it ain’t that: This is clearly, patently, a chocolate spread with nut flavors infused into it. It’s full of sugar, and you probably won’t want to be putting it in your healthy smoothies any time soon. That said, it’s the kind of thing your kids are gonna be begging you to buy, and you might wanna stock up on it when you can, because we predict it’ll be a smash. Just imagine this, slightly warmed up in the microwave, spooned over ice cream. Oh, man. I’m hungry now.
