A lot of snack brands are slow to release new flavors. Pringles is not one of those brands. In 2025, we taste-tested NINE new flavors and varieties, including Smoky Cheddar Pringles, which were our favorites (although Smoky Bacon and 7-Layer Dip weren’t far behind). If you’ve been itching for new Pringles, we have great news. According to a leaked image, a spicy, citrusy new flavor is coming soon: Zesty Lime & Chili.

Before you get too excited, there’s good news and bad news about this new Pringles flavor…

Let’s rip off the band-aid and start with the bad news, shall we? Well, these aren’t technically Pringles, they’re Pringles Mingles. What are Pringles Mingles? Well, they’re like a cross between puffcorn and cheese puffs; they come in a bag rather than the iconic Pringles tube and they’re shaped like little bowties. So, sure, A+ for cuteness, but we’re not totally sold on the texture. They’re a little dense—not terrible but also not unlike edible packing peanuts.

But that’s enough rain on your Pringles parade. The good news about these new Pringles is that this flavor sounds good as hell! It’s giving Takis Fuego, but in a totally different format. And, if you’re super into spicy chips, these new Pringles are promising heat. According to the leaked image, there’s a little pepper meter on the bag and this flavor earned 3 out of 4 peppers. That’s hot!

Okay, but will they actually be hot?

We can’t say for sure until we try them, but Pringles hasn’t let us down in the past. Their line of Hot Ones chips was genuinely spicy (we especially liked the Salsa Verde flavor’s lingering heat). Their Habaneras flavor? One of our all-time favorite spicy chips. And despite being classified as “medium” (aka 2 out of 4 peppers), the Cheddar Jalapeno Pringles Mingles are no slouches in the spice department. I was surprised!

When can I get these spicy new Pringles Mingles?

Well, I guess you could file that under bad news part deux. We simply don’t know. All we have right now is a leaked photo and a dream (our dream is that these will be really good). Hurry, Pringles—we need these ASAP.

Gwynedd Stuart

Howdy! I’m Gwynedd, Sporked’s managing editor. I live in Los Angeles and have access to the best tacos the U.S. has to offer—but I’m a sucker for a crunchy Old El Paso taco night every now and then. I’ve been at Sporked since 2022 and I’m still searching frozen mozzarella sticks that can hold a candle to restaurant sticks. Why you should trust me: I’ve been a journalist for 20 years (yikes), a consumer of food for 40-plus years, and I’m truly hard pressed to think of foods I don’t like (or that I can’t tolerate at the very least). Oh and one time I cooked my way through Guy Fieri’s cookbook and wrote about the journey through Flavortown. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s Original Savory Thins. Fat free plain yogurt (usually Fage or Nancy’s). Honeycrisp apples. Sweet cream coffee creamer for my at-home Americanos. A frozen cauliflower crust pizza and some jarred mushrooms to top it with. Old El Paso Stand ‘N Stuff taco shells and Gardein Ground Be’f, even though I think “be’f” is a nightmarish contraction. Favorite ranking: Stouffer’s frozen dinners. I don’t own a microwave (I get my cancers the old fashioned way!), so I love taste testing things that I don’t really buy to eat at home. Least favorite ranking: Soy sauce. Don’t get me wrong, I love soy sauce—but consuming that much sodium in one sitting is probably illegal in some countries. Our frozen enchilada taste test was a close second; the smell of microwaved corn tortillas still haunts me.
