It’s time to say Yoo-Hoo to some great new flavors!

For an energy drink with a dead mascot, Ghost Energy is proving to be pretty lively.

A couple months ago we reported on a rumor that Ghost Energy drinks was planning to release new flavors based on 7-Up and A&W Root Beer. Well, those rumored flavors were only the beginning, as we’ve since gotten a bunch more rumored new flavors, including a few some returning favorites. So we here’s a guide to all the Ghost flavors we’re getting this year (and a few we might get), as well as when you’ll be able to start gulping them down.

Ghost 7-Up

If you love 7-Up, but are annoyed that it doesn’t have any caffeine, this is the drink for you. This one just hit shelves this month, but we actually got to do an early taste test of it, which you can read here. (Quick Summary: iI’s got that great, tart lime flavor of the original. Also, we loved it!)

Ghost Sour Strips Rainbow

Hitting stores in May, Ghost describes this drink as providing a “mouthwatering rainbow flavor (whatever that is) will shock your tastebuds with a sweetly sour blast of iconic candy flavor.”

Ghost A&W Root Beer

Ghost Energy’s latest soda-based crossover will feature the slightly Vanilla-tinged flavor of A&W Root Beer, and is scheduled to be out in September.

Ghost Yoo-Hoo Chocolate

Ghost is returning to the protein drink market with this chocolatey drink that promises 25 grams of protein in an 11oz can. We say “returning” because they had a short-lived line of protein shakes in 2021, which included “cereal milk” and “Chips Ahoy” flavored shakes. There’s no word yet when this will be released, but we’re betting it’s soon.

Ghost Bubblicious Strawberry Smash & Ghost Bubblicious Cotton Candy

These two bubble-gum flavored drinks are long time favorites that keep appearing, then disappearing from store shelves. Strawberry Smash was first released in 2021, with Cotton Candy following in 2023, but they were both discontinued before repeatedly coming back as limited time flavors.

Now, an official return hasn’t been announced yet, but we’re hearing they’ll be back later this year. And that’s according to Instagram user hvvy_httr, who’s proven to be the most reliable source for Ghost Energy leaks. (He’s the one who broke the news about the 7-Up and A&W flavors.)

Here’s hoping they stop yo-yoing these delicious drinks off of shelves and finally bring them back as permanent flavors!
