Today Is Your Last Day to Buy Blunt-Shaped Donuts

You know what I love? Modern innovation. Unbridled creativity. And that’s exactly what Voodoo Doughnuts has achieved with their box of blunt-shaped doughnuts celebrating today, 4/20. I mean, just look at that photo above!

I’m looking at the photo, Ariana. Those blunts look like carrots. 

And that’s a valid criticism. Maybe squint your eyes a little. Do you see it now? They’re blunts. For 4/20. We live in a world where a popular donut chain can put out something called a “Blunt Box” and sell it on a day when everyone smokes a leaf and ponders their place in the universe. The earth is full of mystery and beauty, dude. 

What are the donut flavors in the Blunt Box? 

I’m so glad you asked. The flavors are the best part because they look so damn delicious and unique. This year’s box features a mix of sweet and savory yeast doughnuts: 

• Maple Blazer Blunt: cinnamon sugar, maple frosting, and red sprinkles to resemble the “embers” on a blunt
• Jalapeño Pepper Hotbox: lightly spicy jalapeño cream cheese topped with a bacon strip and chives
• Watermelon Sour High: sour watermelon frosting with red and green sprinkles
• Puff Puff Pass: chocolate cream, dipped in chocolate frosting, covered in chocolate cereal puffs, with a caramel drizzle
• Breadstick Blunt: fried to a golden crisp, rolled in garlic, parmesan, and Italian seasonings, and served with pizza sauce for dipping
• Wake + Bake Blunt: coated in cinnamon sugar, dipped in Voodoo’s Magic Roast espresso frosting, and topped with green sprinkles

It’s unfortunate that 4/20 falls on a Monday. Womp, womp. But when 6pm hits, I hope anyone who lives near a Voodoo gets to open a box of donut blunts while smoking a fat one.
