New Poppi Flavor! Love Island Poppi Just Dropped

No franchise is safe from a good old food collab. And that includes Love Island. Everyone’s (well, some people’s) favorite dating show, which features a bunch of singles sequestered in a villa who spend their days pulling each other for chats, is a relative latecomer to the food world, but it’s been pretty busy over the last year or so, with a themed bowl from Sweetgreen and a UK collab with Nescafé.

Now, though, Poppi’s on the scene (although it did actually already work with the TV show to release a pina colada flavor last year). The drinks brand has been busy of late, having released a Walmart-exclusive party pack, and it’s time for Poppi x Love Island to make a splash. Here’s what we know.

It’s Time for a Bombshell to Enter the Villa – This Time, in Drink Form

Poppi’s new Punch Pop Prebiotic Soda flavor was revealed by @markie_devo on Instagram, and the word is that it’s already available in stores (more on that in a moment). The Love Island soda comes in a very cute can, all pastel colors and palm trees, and it promises just 5 grams of sugar per serving. As for its flavor, that’s unclear at the moment, but we can expect this to be a tropical fruit punch vibe.

Where Is This Poppi Flavor Available?

Eagle-eyed shoppers have already spotted the Poppi x Love Island Punch Pop in places like Food Emporium and Whole Foods, so it’s definitely on the scene. It’s also been seen at Walmart, Target, ShopRite, and Meijer – so this thing’s gonna be everywhere for the next month or two. Given that the latest season of Love Island is due to drop early June, it’s arriving right on time for you to sip it while you check into the villa yourself.

How Does It Taste?

Well, apparently, it’s pretty good – but only if you like your drinks to be on the sweeter side. “So good but very sweet,” said one early response in @markie_devo’s comment section. Given that this doesn’t have that much sugar in it, the level of sweetness is surprising, but as its previous Punch Pop also contains organic agave inulin, it’s getting that from other sources. The agave inulin in the drink acts as a prebiotic element, but it also gives a touch of sweetness – so yeah. Basically, this one is sweet, so be warned.

As this new drink is currently eluding online listings, we can’t tell you how much it costs, but we wouldn’t expect it to be notably more expensive than other Poppi products. Will it turn into one of our favorite flavors? Only time will tell. Until it does, grab it now, and let us know what you think.
